This was a great way for our family to see the highlights. Our driver, Jimmy, was so gracious and even drove us to see the Velodrome as we can’t go to a city and not visit the soccer stadium. So it was great because we were able to go with the flow, see the highlights and enjoy on our time. Perfect if you want flexibility. But it’s not a tour filled with facts. And we were totally OK with that.

Our guide, “Matt,” was very pleasant and friendly; however, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. During our time in Marseille, he provided very little information while driving us around, which made the tour feel more like basic transportation than a guided experience. At one point, we specifically asked to be taken to an area where our group of six could relax and enjoy a glass of wine with a cheese plate. Unfortunately, he was unable to recommend or take us to a suitable spot, which was disappointing, especially in a city known for its culture and cuisine. Given the cost of the tour, we felt that we could have taken a taxi or Uber for a fraction of the price and had a better overall experience. While Matt was courteous, we would not recommend this tour or company based on our experience.

Your booking was for a 4-hour private tour of Marseille, and Matt fully delivered the agreed program, while also adding extra stops to enhance your visit. Within a limited timeframe, it is simply not possible to cover every aspect of the city in depth, but the tour is carefully designed to provide a high-quality overview. Regarding your request to enjoy wine, Matt did propose a wine tasting experience in Cassis, which you chose to decline. Wine-focused experiences are a separate, dedicated service that must be selected and booked in advance. We also wish to underline that Matt is one of our most experienced chauffeur-guides, consistently praised by our clients for his professionalism, knowledge, and service. Our company has built its reputation on delivering high-end, private experiences, and the feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive. Our services are not comparable to standard transportation options such as taxis or ride-sharing. Emil showed us many great highlights of Marseille and was very knowledgeable about the city and surrounding area. It was very nice to have a private guide and not be on a bus - this also allowed us to access more areas.
Mathieu did a wonderful job showing us the sites. He picked us up from our Viking ship and showed us the marseille and cassis France
Emil was a fantastic tour guide. He took us through Marseille and then drove us up to see Basilique Notre-Dame dela Garde. So great he was able to drop us off so that we did not have to climb to reach the Basilique. What a beautiful site to see. Next, we drove to Cassis and saw fabulous views of the bay and then went to eat at a restaurant on the bay. We had the best pizza of our trip at the restaurant in France! Highly recommend using him to see Marseille!!
