Our guide Karina was very friendly and knowledgeable of the Akihabara district. We enjoyed learning the history of the area as well as Hidden Gems that probably would have been missed if we were just walking around by ourselves. Appreciate the time she took to answer our questions and explain to the kids things to look for while shopping in the area. Nice job, thank you. Davis Family

Original guide was unable to make your however he was promptly replaced with Inol (sp), who spoke great English had great energy and very knowledgeable of area. Unfortunately he was double booked and could only spend an hour with us, but refunded our entire cost of tour, which was very honorable of him. He took us through a maze of shops, telling the history of Akihabura and it's beginnings as a early computer and small electronics repair and sales to its slow transformation into a anime and manga hub known around the world. We were able to learn the gaming culture and the Japan version of gambling (my take). We shared a love of several anime shows and he assisted me in locating Japan specific transformer toys. If I had more room in my home and in my baggage, I would have bought several more toys... All in all, good, not great as we missed out on an hour of history but my feet thanked him regardless!

We enjoyed a fun tour with Ryoko around the anime and manga culture of Akihabara. We booked the tour as we are a mixed age group family and wanted our young adults to find places they might not have come across since arriving in Akihabara. We couldn’t have imagined finding these stores and how many levels there are. Loved learning about ge culture and the secondhand stores also. Ryoko made us all feel comfortable. We loved that the historical electronic stores contained goods from our era. The size of those stores and the photos on display gave us a lot to think about. Ryoko was relatable and made the whole tour enjoyable and we can highly recommend her and the tour.

The anime tour in Akihabara Electric town was great. The pace of the stops felt just right, enough time to explore the stores but not so long that it felt like we were waiting around. Masa our tour guide took a personal interest in making the tour relatable to individual interests in our family group. We saw a range of shops and arcades which were bought to life with anecdotal information making sure we got the most out of our visit. Great experience would strongly recommend.

My wife and I learned a lot about the area and different shops. Charles was great and we appreciate the work he put into our tour!

Excellent Tour...Enthusiastic Guides who were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore the artistic side of Tokyo. Enjoyed Ryukus' pleasant and friendly presentation, on time performance and she represented all of Tokyo at its best.

I had a wonderful tour with Inok as our guide. Very friendly and knowledgable. Found lots of awesome collectables I would not of been able to find without him.

Our guide Inok was fantastic! He has a great sense of humour and tailored the tour to our 16 year old’s knowledge and experience in anime, manga and gaming. He also took us parents on a trip down memory lane showing hidden shops and markets that sold retro/vintage games and merchandise. He was helpful and kept things interesting and engaging. Would highly recommend Inok’s tour.

This tour was essentially just walking through toy stores. You can do that on your own. The guide was super enjoyable tho.
