The guide was very knowledgeable. Using the golf cart is the way to go through the graveyard. The history and stories were amazing. Being close to the river and outdoors make sure you spray a bit of bug spray to keep the no-see-ums away.

So much history here! Our guide Connie was amazing! She knew everything about the families and told it with such passion! I definitely recommend going and visiting!
We did this tour this morning with Darren. We all four thoroughly enjoyed it! Darren was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and personable. He gave us all a bottle of water and even had a little fan for me to use. He was so nice to us and said he wished all of his tours could be with us. He’s an excellent guide. I recommend this tour!
Nancy was very informative! She gave a great tour of a really large place. It was really a beautiful and peaceful place. Nancy made it come alive in terms of how people used their family plots and how they visited family there. She shared historically significant information and was very knowledgeable. She was open to everyone’s questions and encouraged us to ask.
Connie was well informed and so pleasant. The Cemetery is big and we are avid walkers but we’re glad to do the tour. You can walk afterwards or go down to the river. You learn a lot from tour guides
Fun and entertaining history of the cemetery. Great way to spend some time getting to know Bonaventure.
This was a great experience and accommodating to my 1.5 year old. She was a little fussy and Keeley, our tour guide, was very kind and attentive to her needs. We were able to get out and walk some as well as enjoy our golf cart ride. Keeley was very knowledgeable about the cemetery and its complicated history.

Covered golf cart with doors was nice. As the tour states, we did not receive water and there was no need for bug spray. The tour was ok, the operator had some jokes that bordered on off color. We thought there would be more history incorporated, particularly about Savannah. You are free to take your car and drove around. I’d suggest saving your money and doing that.
