Having already visited Saaremaa five years ago by plane, I was somewhat skeptical that a guided day trip could offer me much new insight. However, this tour with Lauri completely blew my expectations away! Taking the ferry over was a wonderful start, and Lauri proved to be an outstanding guide—fluent in English, a very smooth driver, and exceptionally knowledgeable. Since his parents have owned a country house on Saaremaa for many years, he knows the region inside out, sharing authentic local history and personal anecdotes that you won't find in any guidebook. Our itinerary was packed, thoughtful, and perfectly paced: Muhu Island: We started by exploring Muhu, a fascinating place I had never visited before. North-to-South Route: Crossing over to Saaremaa from the north, we made our way down toward Kuressaare, stopping at the impressive Kaali meteorite crater along the way. Kuressaare & Local Flavors: Beyond visiting the iconic Kuressaare Episcopal Castle, Lauri gave me a great tour of the town itself and picked a delightful local restaurant for lunch where we had a fantastic meal. Northern Coast & Hidden Gems: On our way back north, we visited the Angla Windmills, stopped at historic rural churches, explored a castle ruin, and took in the dramatic scenery along the northern coast. The car was extremely comfortable, and the duration and depth of the excursion provided truly immense value. Thanks to Lauri’s deep personal connection to the island, even as a returning visitor, I discovered a completely different, richer side of Saaremaa. The experience was so brilliant that I immediately booked another full-day excursion with Asko's team to Narva. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Not to be missed! An exceptionally experienced and friendly guide, Laurie, led us for 12 hours through beautiful countryside and across the sea to many beautiful and very varied places. His local knowledge also gave a lot of insight into island life. A great tour.

We did the day tour with Laury yesterday. The weather was very nice which always helps but although it’s a long day it’s certainly worth the effort. The 30 min ferry is a nice intermezzo after the drive from Tallinn and is very smooth. Muhu is a very quiet island but beautiful and worth visiting. The highlight is obviously Kuressaare which is stunning. The city itself is also beautiful. Our guide Laury was excellent, very knowledgeable and attentive. If you have the time to go outside Tallinn this is a very good and rewarding option !

It was very interesting to learn about life on the islands. It offers a different perspective than that experienced in Tallinn. The guide was kind and very attentive to meet our expectations. Notable is the walk through Muhu among the scent of the lilies.

The excursion in Muhu and Sarema was fantastycznie and well organized. The guide was profesional, highly knowledgeable, very fruendly, and made the entire excursion both informative and enjoyable. The whole trip was interesting, relaxing and full of beautiful Estonia scenery.
