We were a group of nine. We spent a day in San Francisco touring the city. Our tour ended with a trip to a small family owned Sonoma winery - Mayo Family Winery. Our tasting lasted about 90 minutes. There was a wonderful selection to choose from and all were excellent and the information provided about the wine making process was valuable for future use. This was a great way to end our day in San Francisco.
Our Wine Country tour was fabulous. Anthony, our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He was very easy to interact with. The van was clean and very comfortable. We visited three distinctly different wineries. All were great in their own way. We very highly recommend Edge of the World Tours.
Anthony was the best tour guide. I travelled solo and he created an inclusive environment and had a blast. The wineries we went to were so great!
Fantastic day with our tour guide Anthony, Great wine tastings at each venue, lovely lunch in Sonoma Valley and a lovely ferry ride back to San Francisco. Highly recommend.
The wonderful quality of the wine may be missing. Just not the encouraging event we were hoping for. The first one was by far the best. The other two were seemingly an inconvenience to the winery. I wouldn’t do this tour again. It was good, but no where near outstanding.

I’m surprised to hear that you were made to feel like an inconvenience, that is certainly not the experience we aspire to and our winery partners are selected in part because they typically create a friendly, pleasant experience. We had THE BEST time. Anthony is an amazing tour guide. He is fun, entertaining, knowledgeable of wine AND San Francisco/ Sonoma county. This tour is so well prepared. We had a wine tasting in 3 vineyards, Homewood, Seamus and B.R. Cohn. All in the perfect order, allowing us to know so much about wine and the history of Sonoma and their wines. Every one in the three vineyards were super nice and made sure that we had an amazing time. Anthony knew so much about historic landmarks in Sausalito and in Sonoma. He is so patient, kind and super funny. Always making sure we had a good time. You definitely want him for your tours. We had an amazing time. Can't wait to book another tour with Edge of the world tours! to Muir woods maybe next time
This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Anthony, was charming and delightfully funny. We were really glad to book this on a beautiful day to go wine tasting. Anthony was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. I learned a lot about wine and had a nice buzz going on throughout the experience. We went to 3 locations, Homewood Winery, Famous Seamus and B.R. Cohen. We got a couple of bottles of a delicious Merlot from Homewood Winery. Seamus had really great smelling candles aside from very cool decor and great wines. B.R. Cohen's wine tasting was on the outdoors tables, and we enjoyed some nice conversation within our group and I really like their Cabernet Sauvignon but was too tipsy to get another bottle of wine. Ah at this last location they had a raffle within our group to win a bottle of balsamic vinegar, and they asked me to pick the winner out and I ended up picking myself! Oh, we had lunch at a nearby town, Anthony was kind enough to point out some of the nice, popular places to eat. It was right after our first tasting, but do eat something before heading out into the trip if you are a light weight like me. Cheers!

We had a fantastic tour guide/driver Paul - he had an amazing knowledge of the area. So pleased we visited Sonoma county and Sonoma town for lunch - great contrast to San Francisco to make the most of our trip from England! Enjoyed every wine tasting - each very different and informative- bought a couple of bottles to drink whilst we’re in CA. We were so lucky to have two owners give us the experience and Nick st Cohen’s was a lot of fun, giving hints and tips on how to appreciate wine. My daughter aged 21 also loved this trip too - so great for all ages over 21 I think! We took the ferry home from Sausalito, which was fab as well.

We visited Peter Cellars, Seamus, and BR Cohn — three completely different vibes, each one amazing in its own way. Anthony guided us through each stop with ease, sharing stories, insights, and fun facts that made the experience feel personal and elevated. Picked up right at our hotel, driven comfortably to each winery, learned a ton, laughed even more. We truly cannot wait to come back and book Anthony again. He’s simply the best.
