東長寺は、9世紀初頭に空海によって創建された福岡を代表する寺院です。 印象的な五重塔を眺めたり、日本最大級の木造坐仏である巨大な木造仏像を安置する本堂を見学したりすることができる。 境内は、歴史と芸術と精神が融合した落ち着いた空間を街中に提供しており、福岡の文化遺産発見のスタート地点として最適です。
博多の鎮守として知られる櫛田神社は、博多祇園山笠の名物をはじめ、博多の伝統と深く結びついています。 境内には、一年中美しく飾られた山車や華やかな木彫り、樹齢千年以上といわれる神木イチョウが展示されています。 この神社では、地元の人々の精神生活や不朽の伝統を垣間見ることができます。
博多町家ふるさと館は、19世紀末から20世紀初頭の福岡の日常や伝統を、魅力たっぷりに垣間見ることができます。 復元された商家町家を収蔵し、博多織や伝統的な人形などの工芸品や、祭りや地域文化に関する展示を行っている。 再現された生活空間に足を踏み入れ、職人の現場を見学したり、昔ながらの博多の雰囲気を体感したりできる。 この停留所は、近くの寺社を補完する本格的な文化的な出会いを提供します。
1909年に建てられた福岡赤レンガ文化センターは、天神の中心部にある洋風建築の逸品。 元々は銀行であったが、現在は文化的なランドマークとして、エレガントなレンガ細工とルネサンス様式のデザインを披露している。 福岡の近代化時代を垣間見ることができ、印象的な赤レンガのファサードを背景に、絶好の撮影機会を提供する。

If you are looking for a half day shore excursion with a personal touch then this tour is a perfect choice. Our guide Naoko both greeted and returned us directly to the port. She is very knowledgeable and engaging. Taking the included public transport with her leading the way was a breeze. Her ongoing commentary gave us insights that would that have escaped us if we had gone it alone.
