原爆資料館では、被爆前後の街並みの変遷や、被爆後の遺品の数々を展示しています。 中でも、当時の凄惨な光景を目撃した人々の写真や映像を通して、長崎であの日何があったのかを知ることができます。 ※衝撃的な映像で気分が悪くなる場合は、原爆資料館を別の旅程に変更することも可能です。
マリアの像と原爆の爆風に耐えたアンジェラスの鐘の音が美しいレンガ造りの教会堂。 教会の威容を間近に見ることができ、原爆の痛ましい傷跡を目の当たりにすることができる。
原爆投下センター公園の北側の小高い丘にある平和公園は、悲惨な戦争を繰り返さないという誓いと、恒久的な世界平和への願いを込めて作られた。 長崎市民の平和への願いを込めた平和像は、神の愛と仏の慈悲を象徴し、原爆犠牲者の鎮魂の祈りが込められています。 近くの原爆投下センター記念碑の上空を見上げると、そこには目を見張るような空が広がっています。
大浦カトリック教会は、1864年にフランス語人宣教師によって建てられた、現存する日本最古の木造ゴシック様式の教会です。 何世紀にもわたる迫害の後、隠れキリシタンが信仰を明らかにした場所として有名で、現在はユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されている。
市内に点在する明治時代の洋館6棟を移築復元。 旧グラバー邸、旧リンガー邸、旧アルト邸は国の重要文化財に指定されており、主な建造物となっている。 定住時代の面影を残す石畳や石段が、歴史や文化の香りをさらに高めている。 園内は花々で彩られ、写真映えする光景が広がっています。 また、長崎市のランドマークである稲佐山を背景に、長崎港を一望できる絶好のロケーション。
島原城は江戸時代初期に築かれた見事な5階建ての城で、優美な白壁と周濠が特徴。 最上階からは雲仙山や有明海を一望でき、写真撮影にも最適です。 館内にはキリシタンの歴史や島原の乱に関するIT展示も充実しており、歴史好きにはたまらない施設となっている。 侍甲冑の試着や着物のレンタルなど文化体験も楽しめます。 近くには保存状態の武家屋敷があり、封建時代の生活を垣間見ることができる。 この旅程は、島原ルートオプションを選択されたお客様が対象となります。 島原ルートを選択した場合、島原城の入場料はツアー料金に含まれます。

From the get-go, learning that our guide came from Kokura and that his family could have been directly affected by the atomic bomb made the experience even more meaningful and emotional. He was friendly, attentive, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Above all, he was a genuinely kind and caring person who treated his guests with great respect and consideration. We got a private tour with the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide, Eriko. Her English is perfect. She gave us a great history lesson and made sure that everyone had a good time. We were able to visit galleries of 2 porcelain artisans designated as national "living treasures" , and we even met one in person (There are only 3 of them) I bought beautiful pieces from the living treasures as well as on the streets of Arita. A wonderful day!
