The entrance is somewhat hidden in the narrow alleys of Gaia. Unlike other wineries, there was a German-language audio guide tour there that works well on your own smartphone. Simply log into the company's Wi-Fi, scan the QR code, select the language, and off you go! After a short time, the advancing also worked. ;) The tour leads through several thematic stations, from cultivation, through the harvest to bottling in the bottles, as well as the history of the company. Inexpensive tour (16.00 EUR/person), incl. 3 samples of port, various quality and age levels.

Excellent form start to finish. The Masterclass was given by a master and finished off with some excellent port tasting.

Sergio was the best host and the Port wines were fabulous.

Amazing! Tour was very informative and compelling. With the caveat that you have to be interested in wine, of course. We spent over an hour on the self-guided tour. Spoiler alert - be in the lookout for “do you know the Bishop of Norwich!” Classic!! And the tasting with Sergio was terrific. He was great at answering questions and helping us understand the wines we tasted. We highly recommend!!
