Best Surf School in Tenerife. 100%
Amazing experience. Danann the instructor was really great. Made sure we all caught waves and spent time with each of our group in the water. Hot showers when we came out. We spent a bit of time looking at all the surf schools but happily chose Oceanlife as they are 100% the best. Small groups vs all the other schools with huge groups and no real instruction. We chose well.

First time surfing, private lesson
I took a private surf lesson with Ocean Life. It was incredible, I had never surfed before. Jaime has been super kind with the entire reservation. Danann has been our instructor and we loved him. Very professional, you can tell he loves surfing and that he knows perfectly well how to teach beginners like me, we had an incredible time, I am looking forward to returning

After 1 hour o was standing on the waves
Jaime was a fantastic teacher. It was my first time ever surfing and after 1 hour i was already able to ride my first waves. Was a fantastic experience and i would recommend it to everyone who wants to start their surf journeY

Great private lesson
I had a very enjoyable lesson with Jaime. As an improving beginner with most of my surfing to date in a wave pool in the UK I was keen to experience some larger waves and learn about how to position and catch ocean waves. Being with Jaime meant we avoided the busy beginner area and were in a nice break with just a few locals. A really great session and I learnt a lot and will be back again!

knowledgable, fun, safe, tailored to individual wishes and strenghts
We had such an amazing experience with this surf school! Our instructor Jurek was incredible — super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping each of us improve. The lesson was perfectly tailored to every individual’s level, including my 7 year old, so everyone felt challenged but also supported and confident in the water. He even thought the kid the surf version of rock paper scissors game and it has been played on repeat at our household now.
From the start, communication was excellent — really responsive and helpful when booking, and they suggested the best times and locations based on the conditions so we’d have the best chance to progress. During the session, the instructor gave clear, honest feedback and tons of encouragement, which made a huge difference. We had a blast and would recommend Jurek and Ocean Life school.
