It was a great tour and good to see different scenery. I appreciated getting up early when we got to the lake because we were the only people there. By the time we left two tour buses had just arrived, spoiling the peace. Leana was a great guide. She looked after us well and seemed happy to share what life is like in Kazakhstan.
It was a brilliant day spent with lovely fellow travellers. Mukhtar is a brilliant guide who kept us entertained throughout with many interesting stories, historical information and cultural insights. The locations were gorgeous and there was enough time allocated to each spot for everyone to enjoy them to the fullest. There was also a spontaneous climb to a viewpoint added , just for fun, and I have to confirm, the climb was worth the view. Overall a great day planned and executed. 100% recommend! 😊😊
Our guide Sony was very helpful and engaging. She explained all the details at each viewing point. Having a single vehicle to travel would have helped make the travel more engaging
Fantastic day of exploring Kazakhstan's incredible landscapes! The wide-open, endless views at Assy Plateau were breathtaking, the hike to Bear Waterfall was super refreshing, and finishing the trip by the turquoise waters of Issyk Lake made for a perfect day in nature. Saida was an amazing guide—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring every part of the journey went smoothly. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Almaty!
This was one of the highlight of our Kazakhstan vacation. Incredible experience- must visit Assy Plateau, mainly the overall journey. Kudos to our tour guide Batyrkhan and tour operator Kazakhstan Very Nice. Highly recommended.
Assy Plateau is a unique place, with a wonderful view on the immense grasslands without any presence of mass tourism. There were only some shepherd with yurts and grazing horses and cows. This place cannot be missed for an authentic experience of Kazakhstan. The other places we visited, Lake Issyk and Turgen waterfall were very nice too. We especially appreciated how the guide managed the timing to let us avoid the crowds of tourists in these places. Our guide, Zhanna, was very kind and explained us many interesting facts. The vehicle was big and comfortable and the driver was experienced and fast.
This was a wonderful day to get out and explore a little further out from Almaty. Amina our guide, and our driver were amazing. Great organisation from the company beforehand as well. Took us to beautiful sites, and we arrived almost first at Lake Issyk so only saw a few other people. Even though it was a long day, it went really fast because it was fun, and great organisation. Definitely recommend
We had great day at Assy Plateau! We had big modern SUV, with great driver (forgot his name), who drove carefully and skillfully through rough roads to the Plateau and highways, and excellent guide Shakh who jumped in at the last moment as the guide originally assigned to the tour couldnt make it. It was a long day, 13 hours, but absolutely worth it and my teenage kids - 13 and 16 loved it. We booked private tour and we had freedom to do any of the stops as quickly or slowly as we liked. We were not rushed and Shakh was always extremelly entertaining and engaging so everything felt very relaxed..we also had very nice lunch. We were lucky with the weather as it was sunny all the time, so this made everything even better. Communication was also good before the tour started. Absolutely recommend this tour!
