They picked us up right outside the cruise port in a van for just our group. Excursion was very fun and the lunch was local, authentic, and very very tasty. Great stress free experience with local people and a great value!

Our experience was excellent. Our transportation was waiting just outside the gate and clearly marked. They sent a photographer named Frandy with us down the falls and he was awesome. He was very friendly and made the excursion great. Would most definitely use them again!!

Amazing experience from start to finish! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. We stopped in Puerto Plata on our cruise and Javier and his team were very timely. We actually got to the meeting spot 15 minutes early at 8:45am and Sol was already there and found us before we found her. We also met up with the photographer Germán on the way to the car and then Javier drove us to the falls--if it is your first experience on Dominican roads hold on tight LOL. Once at the entrance to the waterfalls national park, only Germán continued with us as well as two guides who worked at the park (Flacko Mambo and Alexis--if you get the chance to have them as your guides you will be in great hands). The hike up to the waterfalls is a bit long but we enjoy hiking so it wasn't too bad at all, they will keep telling you it is only 5 more Dominican minutes haha! We loved the waterfalls and it was such a fun and cool experience, definitely wear good water shoes with a rubber sole because it will be rocky. After the waterfalls they took us to a buffet lunch which was so delicious. Germán came around after we finished eating to ask if we wanted to buy the photos/videos he took of us and it was $60 for the two of us (not sure if pricing is different for solo travelers or families) and he accepted payment in multiple ways. We paid via paypal and he also helped us connect to the wifi since we didn't have data lol. I would definitely recommend getting the photos that they take of you since we didn't bring our phones and it really isn't recommended to take any of your valuables with you (you can keep them in the car). We did have our phones in waterproof cases but opted to leave them in the car and are so glad we did because one guy at the waterfalls with a different tour group lost his phone in the water after it broke off the lanyard. HUGE shout out to our guide Alexis though because he dived under and was able to find it but you might not be so lucky if it happens to you (someone in our group lost their apple watch, rip). In case you forget to take something off though, our guide Flacko had a waterproof bag you could put your stuff in before we reached the waterfalls so that was also nice. After lunch we were driven back and at the port by 1pm with more than enough time to spare before our all-aboard time. All in all, the experience was super active and fun, the included lunch was delicious and filling, and the cost of the tour + photos + tips we gave still cost us less than if we booked the excursion with our cruise so we are very happy about that. Javier and Sol were great, and we especially loved talking with our photographer Germán on the hike back. Oh I forgot to mention on the hike back as well, Alexis picked a ripe cacao pod and cracked it open for us to taste the fruit inside so that was also a fun first experience too! Visitor team was amazing and everything ran as scheduled. Thr hike to the falls took about 30 minutes and was up many flights of stairs. We got out workout in for the day. Do not wear Jewerly or take phones and watches!! So many people lost them in the falls. The water is strong and moving fast .

Bad business - Would never book through this company again! We have done the Damajagua Waterfalls tour 3 times and love it. Definitely recommend the excursion, but book through another company. On this cruise we intentionally booked a 9am tour to be ahead of the cruise ship tours. Late the night before I received a message saying they changed our time to 10am. I immediately messaged them back that we booked the 9am tour through them intentional to beat the long lines of the cruise tours. Sol said it was no problem since they arrive before the ships get into dock. We rushed to meeting spot (maybe 15min walk away), they boarded the 5 of us in a 7 passenger van, and then we waited and waited. At 930am I finally walked back to the where they were waiting for 2 more passengers and they lied and kept saying "just 10 more minutes". Finally we left after 10am waiting on the 2 other passengers after they kept saying "just 10 more minutes". Alex, the photographer did a great job and we tipped him even though we had no interest or never requested having a personal photographer along the entire tour with us, he was no pressure and good. Sol (the apparent tour person) added zero value to the tour and even stood in the photos and rushed us on the pink street when we wanted them just to either drop us off at the end of the tour or at the port and they essentially refused to so our post excursion time was rushed, and would have been better had they just taken us back to the port meeting spot and we could walk two blocks to see get the photos we wanted. Further, after the waterfalls they insisted on taking us to some shopping spot we did not request and neither our group of 5 or the other 2 in tour had any interest in going just so they could get their driver kickback money from the shopping center for bringing passengers. Had they given us the option it would have been fine, but taking us to some random off the beaten path made me uneasy and took time out of our day for some rum medicine sales pitch when we do not drink alcohol and zero interest in being taken there. We do love the Damajagua Waterfalls excursion, just would never ever recommend or use this company. We used Iguana Mama tour our first time many years ago that we book directly for a group of 30 of us and they were amazing!!! We did the Cruise ship excursion the second time, 6 months ago, and it was good but long lines waiting. This tour we booked 9am to be ahead but were instead behind the cruise excursion lines not leaving the port until after 10am. I would NEVER EVER use or recommend this tour company. They did not listen to us, took us to a place that was not discussed before or wanted to go taking time out of our return, and time in Puerto Plata after the tour to see a few sites we had wanted to do on our own after the tour. Instead we have photos of Sol standing in the background of all our photos on pink and umbrella streets and rushed us when we had no interest in anything more than their dropping us off either at the port or by the pink street. I still tipped her and the driver some, but wish I had not as I could not have been more upset and felt deceived by this group.

Great excursion. Fun waterfalls. Quite a hike—not for beginners however our guide was VERY helpful with helping us with navigating the water and rest breaks going up to the falls. Exhausted by the end but in good way. We all had a blast.

My wife and I had an amazing experience, our driver Javier and Sol picked us up on time at the determined location. We highly recommend them for any transportation services. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Our guide Stanley was outstanding as well. The waterfalls are amazing, we loved it!
