Amazing full day adventure into the desert. I especially loved swimming in the magic lake. Food at the camp was delicious and plentiful. We paid extra to go to the fossil museum but I wouldn’t say it’s a ‘must see’. Riding across the sand dunes in the 4x4 was an experience!
Be aware the journey to get to the desert camp to start the trip takes a good couple of hours from Tahrir square area of Cairo, so it’s a long day but in our minds it was worth it. Our guide Nourhan was lovely.
