This was the perfect way to be introduced to Vienna. Maria, our guide, was knowledgeable and engaging. She was unrushed and the food choices were excellent. You have many options, but you cannot go wrong with this one!

This was a great class with the chef being personable, as well as exact in his cooking methods. The food, company and atmosphere was excellent, and I highly recommend taking this class if you’d like to learn more about Austrian cuisine.

Wonderful way to spend an evening in Vienna. The lovely Maria, a Vienna local, took us to some of her favourite places to sample local cuisine. Along the way she shared the history of Vienna and what it’s like to live in this lovely city. We enjoyed punch cake, then she took us into a courtyard restaurant where we had a delicious pork schnitzel and potato salad for dinner. Next was her favourite sausage stand where we ate like locals. Then another cafe for a tasty apple strudel. Finally a glass of Austrian wine. She was happy to recommend another bar for us to visit after the tour, and even took us there herself. Thankyou Maria for sharing your passion for your city and for giving us a great experience.

A great way to get out of the central hub and see more of the city vibe from the surrounding area. The tour through took us around the art and student areas to find some hidden delights. Make sure you’re hungry! Nut, our guide, was great.
