モシから出発し、トゥクトゥクでマテルニ村まで向かいます。 ここでは、地元のコーヒー生産地とバナナ農園を見学し、地元のコーヒーがどのように作られるのかをお見せします。
一緒にマテルニ滝までハイキングします。途中で美しい景色を楽しみながら、最後に滝を鑑賞できます。もちろん滝で泳ぐこともできます。

AMAZING experience at the coffee plantation seeing how the local organic process is done plus a beautiful hike over to the waterfall; be warned that the ride in the tuk tuk can be a little rough going for about 1/2 hr on the unpaved road
Such a fun and unique experience! The hike was beautiful, and the coffee experience was definitely a highlight. I loved learning about the traditional coffee-making process and getting to actually participate in making the coffee. The local food was delicious, and the whole experience felt so authentic and welcoming. Boni was wonderful, knowledgeable, and made sure I had an amazing time from start to finish. Even getting picked up and dropped off in a tuk tuk was such a cool experience! I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting the Moshi area!

I had a really good time on this excursion. The guide Calvin was really professional and helpful, especially with navigating the slippery path near the waterfall. The coffee making part of the outing was fascinating, especially the drumming and singing that accompanied the processing of the coffee. Later, I went on a couple more outings with the same company, with guides Jonathon and Boni, in the Rau Forest Reserve and to Kibosho village and vicinity. They provided a lot of information for understanding the wildlife and local culture. Especially nice was the shot of ginger, garlic, lemon, cinnamon, and honey at the start of the ride to Kibosho to help me recover from my cold.

We had a dreamy, phenomenal half-day trip to Materuni Waterfall and the local coffee plantation! The waterfall hike was lovely, the coffee-making experience was an absolute highlight, and the traditional local lunch was generous and delicious. The entire hospitality from start to finish was a total dream. A huge special thanks to our guide, Bony. Bony is smart, kind, super funny, generous, and an amazing storyteller who explained everything so well. He is a truly great guy, and the same goes for his entire team-his amazing friends and family who work alongside him. Total change of scenery. 2 parts: Materuni waterfalls, a hike with a walking stick and boots rented because of the terrain, which can be muddy and slippery depending on the weather. Expect about an hour in such conditions. Don't forget the return trip. The falls are very beautiful and the vegetation is very green and lush. Bring cash because there are plenty of artists along the way, and it is important to support them by purchasing their paintings, which, by the way, are all very beautiful and typical. The coffee tour was memorable; we had a delicious local lunch with several dishes, and we prepared our coffee through every step. The group comes to sing and provide entertainment. They filmed with my phone, and the result is professional-grade. Bony is an exceptional guide ❤️❤️❤️. He agreed to come pick us up from far away, which allowed us to go on this outing, and he was a huge help during the hike, taking my phone when necessary and giving me a hand. We experienced a second trip with this authentic experience and the kindness of the whole team. You are fabulous ❤️❤️❤️.

I had a great experience on the coffee tour and waterfall trek. The coffee experience was so much fun and Bony, Barako and his team were super friendly and made the experience interactive and entertaining. My husband and I booked this experience and our guide Bony and driver Steven were amazing. They took care of us all along the way. They had trekking poles for the hike to the waterfall which was beautiful but muddy and slippery. The coffee plantation was organic and the best cup of coffee we have ever had. Everyone was welcoming and friendly! They also served us a delicious local lunch and cleaned our boots while we ate. Would recommend but beware they use a tuk-tuk for transportation and the roads can be very bumpy.
