There so much to learn about the Jewish life in Georgia — both the history and the present. The guide, Teona, was really excellent! She knew so much about the above and was able to put it in the context of what else was happening contemporaneously. She was also a very effective communicator! One of the best tours I’ve been on!

Fascinating…
We had a wonderful Jewish Heritage Tour today and absolutely loved the experience. Our guide Teona, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. She shared so much fascinating history about Georgian Jews and made the tour both educational and enjoyable.
It was wonderful to see the beautiful historic buildings, learn about the long and rich history of the Jewish community in Georgia, and hear the stories behind the places we visited. The Jewish Museum and the Great Synagogue were particular highlights and made the experience very special.
We learned so much and truly enjoyed every part of the tour. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Jewish history, Georgian culture and the fascinating connection between the two.

Informative walking tour
Really nice tour. Teona was very knowledgeable about Jewish history in Georgia and was able to answer all of my questions. She also helped connect me to other Jewish communities in Georgia.

Excellent tour!
Great tour! Teona was an excellent guide. She has a lot of personal knowledge about the Jewish community and synagogues. We gained a great deal of information. We even saw part of the ancient city walks below the existing one.

The Georgians love their Jews
Excellent tour with a kind and very knowledgeable guide to discover the unique and fascinating history of the Georgian Jewish community and culture. At the end we drank “lechaim” with some fine kosher wine.

Rich Jewish history in beautiful Tbilisi!
Who knew Georgia had such a rich Jewish history?! I loved this from to finish - 2 synagogue visits and the Jewish museum, followed by kosher wine tasting! Teona is super knowledgable about Georgian history and how the Jewish community fits into it. She is well versed in Jewish traditions and able to speak to every issue impacting the community thru modern day. Really recommend this tour for those wanting expand their understanding of Georgia and the international Jewish community!

Our Jewish Heritage Tour was an enjoyable and a good learning experience. Our guide had Jewish heritage and understood the issues and complex history of Jews in Georgia. She also knew her wines!

Jewish history tour Tbilisi
Teona was friendly and knowledgeable guide. She had a great intrest in Jewish history in Georgia and was passionate to show us around her wonderful city. We saw 2 synagogues and a Jewish museum. The tour ended with us being able to sample local kosher wine together. Really lovely important tour. Thank you
