水道橋は 1783 年に建設され、サリンズの西のリフィー川に大運河を渡します。水道橋で停車し、船長が短い歴史の解説を行います。
レンスター水道橋を越えて先へ進むと、240 年の歴史を持つディグビー閘門の仕組みを鑑賞したり、運河を建設した土木作業員の過酷な生活や、曳舟道を支配した重馬について学んだり、レオナルド ダ ヴィンチとのつながりを発見したりできます。

This was a brilliant experience in an idyllic canal setting. Travelling at 4miles an hour along a lovely peaceful Irish waterway with a varied amazing selection of birds and wildlife...it doesn't get much better than this...except it did! Gérard and his son,our hosts,complimented our travels with their wealth of knowledge and entertaining stories. What a fantastic 2 and a half hours...everyone should experience this at least once in their lives.
Very scenic and interesting ride along the river to the lock. Interesting and fun commentary along the way. Comfortable seating. Great service. Food for singles, couples and families. Recommend!
We’ve now taken four cruises with this company and every trip has been excellent. The crew are welcoming, professional, and very knowledgeable, always going out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. The bar onboard is well stocked and adds to the relaxed atmosphere. We’ve tried both the one-hour and 90-minute cruises and thoroughly enjoyed both. Crossing the aqueduct is a real highlight and perfect for taking some lovely photos. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable day out.
Fantastic highly recemend fantist family day out
We arrived at requested time of 9.50am and were greeted by Chris, our skipper for the day and were boarded onto the beautiful narrow boat we would be sailing on. The barge is well equipped with a toilet, indoor and outdoor seating, a bar with bottles and a tap with lager on draft as well as complimentary tea and coffee. The journey is extremely smooth and we were entertained by a hugely knowledgeable Chris who told us so many interesting things about the canal and creatures and vegetation living in it. Experiencing the Lock being opened to allow the boat rise onto the next part of the canal as we continued our journey was brilliant and a fabulous piece of engineering. There are so many other things we enjoyed so would highly recommend it. We had food afterwards in Lock 13 bar and restaurant which was really nice too.
This was an amazing trip the weather was beautiful all kinds of wildlife to hear and see as you cruise along the canal we had a little stop off along the way to see and hear some of the history from our skipper who was very entertaining and knowledgeable he also took the time to take some photos of everyone on board when we arrived back we had lunch in lock 13 which was also part of the trip great food also we would deffo do this trip again with family and friends would highly recommend thanks to all involved in making this trip so enjoyable. kindest regards Trish and Tony
