A fascinating historical tour of Salé which I absolutely loved. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of my female guide which is terrible as she definitely deserves 10/10. She made the tour fun and educational. She spoke impeccable English and was extremely knowledgeable on lots of subjects. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Salé with Asmaa. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about this lesser explored area of a Rabat visit. It was easy to get to the meeting point via the tram from the Medina. It felt like we were the only tourists in Salé. It is quite different to Rabat with narrower/quieter streets. It was interesting to learn about Salé’s older history. The UNESCO Madrassa and Borj Adoumoue (which is not currently open to the public but which Asmaa arranged for us to see) gave a lot of insight into the history of Salé. We finished the tour near the little ferry boats along the river so we could return to the medina in Rabat that way. Would highly recommend this tour.

Titi is a brilliant guide, she provided us with so much interesting information from the beginning to the end of the tour. Sale has a fascinating history. We'd highly recommend doing this tour. If you are in Rabat the easiest way to get to the meeting place is via a water taxi for 2.5 MAD and a short walk to Bab Lamrissa. You can also take the tram which stops right next to the gate. Wear a hat, comfortable shoes and take plenty of water.
