My wife and I did this activity on 11/08/2026 with Yukay Turizm/Cactus Rafting. DO NOT BOOK with Cactus Rafting. If you already have, cancel it. The rafting itself was fun, and the guides did their best, but those are the only positives. The activity appears cheap initially, but they aggressively upsell additional activities and overpriced items, and the overall organisation was chaotic and miserable. Our hotel pickup started badly. The night before, we were given MarkAntalya mall as the meeting point without an exact location. The driver was over 20 minutes late, never called, and we had no way to contact him. We eventually found other participants whose driver had contacted them and they helped us locate the pickup point. When the driver arrived, he spoke little English and simply gestured for us to enter, leaving us worried we were in the wrong van. He then made an unnecessary 5-minute fuel stop followed shortly by a 10-minute rest-stop break, making an already long journey even longer. At the rafting site, we were told our sandals were “forbidden” and that we had to buy their €10 water shoes or we couldn’t participate. This directly contradicts the GetYourGuide listing, which says sandals are acceptable. Our sandals are specifically designed for hiking/rafting and have a thick protective sole. The water shoes had almost no sole, and I later injured my foot stepping on a sharp rock while walking on gravel. The GetYourGuide listing also says rafting-only participants should wait around 45 minutes while others finish their activities. We actually waited around 1.5 hours. It was 38°C, yet there was no water available to buy or drink. The water we brought ran out quickly, which is completely unacceptable in that heat. The rafting finally started about 3 hours after arrival. There was a drink break during rafting, but many people didn’t realise the drinks were charged separately, and the prices were extremely high. Lunch wasn’t served until 17:00. The return journey was even worse. The driver recklessly overtook vehicles in a no-passing zone, narrowly avoiding a head-on collision, and drove for around 15 minutes with the side door completely open. At drop-off, one of our friends told the driver in Turkish that he needed to retrieve his bag from the back, but the driver drove away with it. He eventually recovered it the following day after considerable stress and paying €20. In conclusion: absolutely do not book rafting with Cactus Rafting/Yukay Turizm.
