Wonderful experience with Geko, a super kind, friendly, and very, very agile guide. Stunning views in good company; it was a pleasure to be with the whole group and learn from Geko some tips about his life and his love for Cat Ba. Highly recommended!
It rained heavily these last few days in Cat Ba, so we took advantage of a long lull to book this activity. We did not regret a single minute. The guide, Mừng, was truly warm. He taught us many things about the plants and animals of the park. It was very easy to talk with him. He led us to the summit of Mount Ngự Lâm where the view was breathtaking. There are few people at this time so it was very relaxing. Mừng then took us to the Trung Trang cave. We had never seen a cave with so many geological features. We recommend this experience!
The nature was beautiful, and we had a super nice and helpful guide named Gecko. The pickup at the hotel and the return trip to the hotel also worked perfectly; there were no problems or wait times whatsoever. The excursion was definitely worth it and was a lot of fun for us. ☀️
We did the half trek with our family of four (2 adults and 2 x kids (7 & 10yrs old). This was the perfect trek for our kids. They were certainly hot and there was some whinging but they both said it was worth it in the end. The guide Canh was also great. He entertained our 7 yr old and was lots of fun. The view is incredible and it was certainly worth it!

Great! Gecko was a wonderful guide. We even had a member of the band who had a drop in tension and he was careful so that she would get back in shape and we could all finish together.

Interesting tour to a great viewpoint and interesting caves with a friendly guide.
A lovely afternoon hiking around the national park and through some caves. Gecko was a great guide, very friendly and informative. Be prepared for plenty of hiking/climbing - it can be quite steep at points but the views are more than worth it.
