Really enjoyable and informative tour - a great way to cram a lot of Rio into a short time, especially if you're traveling for business like me! I really appreciated how knowledgeable and flexible the tour guide, Michael, was throughout. I would definitely recommend this experience.

This was a really good tour, Micheal did an exceptional job at navigating us around the city, we stopped at very interesting places, he told us a lot of history and it was a great way to get around, something you will not see and do every day I can highly recommend it

Wonderful, comprehensive tour of central Rio. Michael is a friendly, knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed our time with him. Definitely recommend the pedicab tour over a walking tour. The sites are spread out and we were able to see twice as much as we would have on a walking tour. We learned so much about the history and culture of Rio and Micheal had lots of great tips for what to do, see and eat in Rio. Appreciated that at the end of the tour he took us over to the Bonde so we could ride the trolley. Can’t say enough good things about our tour and guide. Thank you Michael!

We had the most amazing experience touring Rio with Michael from Trio Pedicab & Bike Tours. I honestly can’t recommend this tour highly enough! Michael took us all around the city, showing us famous landmarks while sharing the fascinating history and stories behind everything we saw. He is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about Rio, and he made the whole experience both educational and so much fun. My 8-year-old son, Rudá, absolutely loved it. Michael was wonderful with him and kept him interested throughout the tour. Rudá came away remembering so many different facts and stories about Rio, which made the experience even more special for me. There were so many highlights — riding past the Museu do Amanhã at sunset was absolutely beautiful, visiting the historic Mosteiro de São Bento, stopping for delicious coffee and cakes at Casa Cavé, and climbing the colourful Selarón Steps while learning the fascinating story of Jorge Selarón and how the steps came to be. But one of the best parts was simply riding around Rio, taking everything in. Michael gave us plenty of opportunities to stop for photos, explained everything so well, and made the entire tour feel relaxed, personal and memorable. If you’re visiting Rio de Janeiro, I would 100% recommend doing this tour. It is such a fantastic way to see the city, learn about its history and discover places and stories you might otherwise miss. Thank you so much, Michael, for such an unforgettable experience and for teaching Rudá and me so much about the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. This will definitely be one of our favourite memories from our time in Brazil!

Michael was great and, boy, does he work to make your tour a great experience. The perfect way to be introduced to Rio. Cannot recommend enough.

Michael was one of the most polite and kind tour guides I have ever met. His knowledge and insight into the rich cultural and religious history of Rio de Janeiro is so vast. I felt like I had entered a different century while listening to him talk me through the history of each site we visited. This is a must do tour and is safe for a solo female traveller as well! Michael did not leave until he found my Uber drive and ensured that I was headed to my next destination.

Fantastic tour from a different perspective that took us to see the less touristy center of Rio and discover places we didn't imagine

Family of three travelled to Rio in July 2026. This was a great tour, our guide Michael was passionate and very informative, it's a different way to see the city from a Pedicab and Michael stopped at all of the right places. Unfortunately, due to the Brazil world cup football match that day, many of the places were closed, but Michael saved the best for last and charmed the guards to open up the attraction for us to have a peek. Michael also stopped off at a place, I won't spoil it and we got to experience a real part of Brazil, highly recommend this tour.
