A lovely day to marathon and temple of Artemis and accompanying museums. Had an insightful conversation with llias on life in Greece. He is a joyful person. As it was February, I was the only visitor to the marathon site at the time and had a wonderful and illuminating conversation about the battle of marathon with the gate keeper at the battle site. For those who love Greek history-a must visit. Llias drives you to locations where you understand the battle and the lay of the land. All in all a fun day.

Ilias took my friends and I on The Marathon Tour in Athens. He was warm, welcoming, funny and knowledgeable from the start to the finish. Ready to go and pick us up whenever we were ready. We decided to do this tour for two things: 1. To get out of the city and see the countryside of Greece instead of just staying in Athens, and 2. My wife is a runner so a trip to Marathon was a way for her to see the history and learn more about the story. Ilias provided us with great information not only about Marathon, but also about different parts of Greece. We made multiple stops and we were allowed to spend as little or as much time as we wanted at each stop. We even stopped for lunch at a seaside place with kebabs and gyros (other options also nearby). Total time was about 7 hours but it seemed to go very quickly! Highly recommend!

One of the best & memorable tours that my family & I experienced. As an amateur marathon runner, this is a dream come true. Our very punctual tour guide/driver Ilias gave us all the 411 of Athens & Marathon. So educational/informative and fun. He set the tour as we hoped it would be, just chill/relaxed tackling the highlights and most importantly he points out the details that we want to know. It’s like a personalized tour. I won’t forget this tour forever. Ilias is a trustworthy fella and he made sure we had fun, not to mention an amazing driver as well. Thank you so much Ilias, we love Athens & Marathon!!!
