An incredible day. It was by far the best tour we have ever taken. In the afternoon we visited the Vatican Museums, where we admired an extraordinary collection of masterpieces. Our guide brilliantly illustrated the evolution of Renaissance and Baroque art, the symbolism hidden behind many paintings and sculptures, and the genius of great masters like Michelangelo. In the afternoon we visited the center of Rome, and the most beautiful fountains and enchanting squares. It was a perfectly organized day. It was absolutely worth every minute and next year we plan to return with our children so that they too can experience this wonderful experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone!

This walking tour was one of the most pleasant moments of our stay in Rome. We walked through the center, between the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the splendid fountains. The guide was very good. We were so satisfied that we decided to book the Vatican Museums tour for tomorrow as well!

My favorite guide was Francesca, who did our squares tour. She was really engaging with our group which included several children. Great listener, knew her history, and gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our stay. I’ve recommended this company to several friends who are coming to Italy over the next few months.

This morning we did a walking tour through the most beautiful squares in Rome, breathtaking in their beauty, and in the afternoon the Colosseum, all with Francesca. It was simply fantastic, everything, from how she led the tour, the organization, the friendliness, the energy and the extraordinary enthusiasm in bringing the whole group along with her. Praise and super praise to the legendary Francesca! 😂❤️ the best investment of this weekend! What to do in Rome during an August Sunday with temperatures that are nothing short of dizzying? We had accidentally found a private tour of the fountains and squares of the historic center on the internet and we booked it. We met with Francesca at Campo de' Fiori and, given the insane heat, we asked her if it was possible to customize the tour and do something that would allow us to cool off. Within two phone calls and a total change of plans, Francesca took us to the Borghese Gallery with a private car service offered at no cost to us. A small fundamental premise... my husband and I know nothing about art! but Francesca told us... don't worry, I will make you understand everything... and so it was! She connected everything we were seeing. We didn't even know what the Renaissance was 😂.. Mannerism, the Baroque, Neoclassicism… things we had never studied suddenly started to make sense. Canova, Caravaggio, Bernini… a painting or a statue were no longer simply what we were looking at but also what was behind it, the artist's intention, the politics, the personal dramas that had influenced that hand and above all the artist's sensitivity. That was the thing we liked the most, the fact that she was continuously able to create connections. Then her personality, so sunny, so lively and spontaneous, was a whirlwind. It is really true, behind what we see there is almost always something else. Behind a painting, a sculpture, behind people, sometimes you just need someone to make you want to look a little deeper. Our private tour was the highlight of our stay in Rome. We only had one day to visit the city and our guide showed us so many things, very well-prepared on all the places we visited. It was truly pleasant to spend time with her, we felt as if we were visiting the city with a good friend. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome! And we ended the tour with a delicious gelato!

Francesca was an extraordinary guide and an exceptional person. Very good at explaining every stop. She made the history of Rome understandable, everything was very clear and now the most salient aspects of the Roman Empire, the relationship between Empire and religion, and much more are clear to me. I am truly grateful to have had such a good and helpful guide. I highly recommend this tour of the squares.
