Disappointed

Several attractions closed including the Baron and Fata Morgana. No Ravelijn show. Long queues but no option for the virtual queue like they used to have. And long queues with hardly any shade in the hot sun. And despite the longest day of the year they close at six o’clock.

The park offers plenty of green spaces, indoor areas and sheltered terraces where you can find some relief from the heat. Raveleijn is currently closed for renovation. Fata Morgana is also undergoing maintenance at the moment. The maintenance schedule can be found on our website. We’re sorry to hear that you missed this. long waiting times and rude staff

It was a huge disappointment for my children. Long waiting times, broken attractions and rude staff. Very sorry for the children. They don't want to come to the Efteling anymore. Waste of time and money. I had to drive all the way from Amsterdam.

Wat jammer om te vernemen dat jullie niet genoten hebben van jullie dag in ons sprookjesachtige park. Drukte kan in ons park helaas altijd mee- of tegenvallen. Op onze website plaatsen wij een drukte-indicatie, zodat gasten hier voorafgaand aan hun bezoek rekening mee kunnen houden. Een storing kunnen wij nooit voorkomen of uitsluiten. Wij doen er alles aan om te zorgen dat onze gasten hier zo min mogelijk mee te maken krijgen. Iedere ochtend voordat het park opent, controleren wij alle attracties op veiligheid en zal deze vóór opening proefdraaien. Je geeft aan dat je onvriendelijk personeel hebt ervaren. Nearly perfect

We stayed in a hotel in the park. Landhuys. The hotel has good sized rooms ideal for a family of 4, 2 bunk beds plus a big double bed. The hotel was expensive, but if there are 4 of you the included entrance tickets help a little, as they are a worthwhile saving. The park as a whole is beautiful, very lush greenery. Some areas are missing a bit of maintenance, weeds showing, but 99% is well tended. We have visited many parks around the world. I much prefer Eftling’s dense greenery to more open, concrete parks. The rides offer a few suitable for more adventurous teenagers, but far fewer that say universal or Disney. Food outlets are fairly good, expensive , focused on sweet food and snacks of course, but if you look hard you can find better options. Water fountains are very hidden (look for 3 barrels) a friend and family who live very close and have annual passes didn’t know that drinking water is available. This needs to be improved. Ride times are reasonably short. Thankfully, no fast passes, as in other parks they become essential and add hugely to the cost. The park is a bit low on seats, especially near toilets where often one member of the party has to wait to look after the bags coats etc. this needs to be fixed. Overall, this is much more chilled and family oriented than the more intensive parks. If the food offerings, seating, water fountains were improved I would give it 5 stars.

Always a party 🧙🐉🎢

The Efteling is a fantastic, green theme park and unique in its kind. Accessible for the whole family. Also for disabled people. Everything is always taken care of and arranged to perfection. From the Fairytale Forest for the little ones to the daredevil roller coasters for the ‘big kids’; you’ll find it all there. Food is diverse and generally very good. Is high in our top 3!

Efteling, where miracles exist

Efteling, where miracles exist. We booked 2 days park and one night in the wonder hotel. We enjoyed it so much! From the park, the friendliness, good food in restaurant saga, breakfast in miracle hotel, clean room, everything in theme. We could not notice anything less good. Keep it up. It was a wonderful experience xxx

Avoid!! Staff are rude and uncaring, especially about additional needs

I don’t usually write reviews but felt I had to after this visit. I visited Efteling with my family in May 2026 for a week. The park is beautiful and everything is reasonably priced. But The staff are so rude and unhelpful and that left a huge stain on our visit. There were many minor issues which staff refused to help with claiming it was not possible that I can get past. But there was serious rigidities encountered any time we tried to seek accommodations for my autistic children. There was such blatant discrimination encountered at every turn making it seem that Efteling has a policy to make it difficult for those with disabilities to enjoy the park. Staff just did not care about their guests experience and we were told on at least 2 instances that difficulties we were experiencing were “not their problem”. Efteling is so far behind the times when it comes to treatment of people with disabilities. They have a lot to learn from other theme parks around the world who actually care about their guests experience in the park. I have reached out to Efteling to raise the issues but almost a week later and my contact has been ignored. We will definitely not be returning and will be telling everyone to avoid and spend your money with a company who cares.

Great family day with lots of rides, even in the rain

This is an amazing park with none of the insanity of a Disney. Popped down in the middle of the woods the theming is incredible and we spent a full day there just gawking at how beautiful and thoughtful the the whole experience was. The price for the entrance and then for everything else in the park was all very reasonable. We paid €219 for a family of 4 with parking. Food and drinks were another €40 throughout the day, and we brought in a lot of snacks.

great park, staff needs training

Beautiful park, but unfortunately the friendliness of the staff at many attractions is hard to find. (Especially at the Flying Dutchman—they really seem to be working there against their will, almost rude.) The toilets are also very outdated and feel quite dirty. The magic of the park disappears the moment you step into one. They don’t need to be luxurious, but these look like they haven’t been touched since the 1970s. A shame. That said, the attractions are great, the organization is solid, and there’s plenty of good food.

Not engine friendly

We wanted to come by today, but unfortunately there is no possibility to park your motorcycle safely. Unfortunately, people think that a motorcycle is a general purpose attraction and put their children on the motorcycle for the photo. But if the offspring then scratch or worse, then they do not give at home. As Efteling, you could then, like all other large parks in Europe, provide a separate place for motorcycle parking. The only reason there are 2 dots left at the assessment is that the parking employee opened the gate for free, because we did not park. Our subscription expires in August (and we also have a parking subscription, but it's about principle) and we're sure we won't renew. Along with their terror of the green gang, I'll let them keep it. We're going to watch the show again and that's enough.
