Best way to see Deep Ellum
What a fun way to see Deep Ellum! Thanks to Escapely, we got to enjoy not just solving all the fun puzzles, but also to admire the beautiful street murals all over, and to learn about the area's deep history. We spent a super fun afternoon walking all over while enjoy some amazing local food as well!

Clever Use of Deep Ellum and It's Art!
This was such a fun experience! We did it the afternoon after Christmas and it was a great family time out. We found the puzzles to be about the right difficulty - we definitely needed everyone's input to solve them, but they weren't so hard that we got frustrated with the puzzles and with each other. We only had to use hints once! I would definitely do this again in another city given the chance. Definitely worth the time and effort to do. We had 5 people and one just tagging along but not doing the puzzles. I think it took us about 3 hours to complete the mystery (we had to juggling parking limits). I do think Deep Ellum is better in the afternoon versus at night when the crowds come in.

Highly recommend
This was our first time doing an escape room type experience without being in an actual dedicated room! I loved this, the puzzles, the immersion, and not having a time constraint! My husband and I did this on two separate days while visiting Dallas. This one took us a little over 3 hours, and although we used hints to get us in the right direction, we felt super accomplished after solving the murder. I would highly recommend this to anyone in Dallas or visiting Dallas.

Nice way to explore an...
Nice way to explore an area and learn about the restaurants and things to do. The puzzles can be challenging but ultimately solvable. It will take the time outlined and more if you stop to eat, drink, etc.

FANTASTIC!! Loved EVERYTHING about it!
It was PERFECT!!!! We ALL had so much fun and definately got invested in the process! I have done a few different types of things where there was a challenge to be completed or a mystery to be solved over the years. My experience has been 50/ 50. They were either cheesy and overly simple. No challenge at all. Or, there was literally NO POSSIBLE WAY to get to the answer with the information given. Some others I have done were like a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, which was pretty much a Stage Play where at intermission everyone in the audience submitted their answer to who they believed the killer to be but that was the full extent of our participation.
This product was a PERFECT blend of solving puzzles AND participating in an additional scavenger hunt ending in a logic problem to solve the MURDER MYSTERY!
The difficulty level was also PERFECT! And the hints didnt give away the answers if you had to use them! If you talked it out loud with your teammates you would eventually come to find the answer.
The only thing that I dislike about the game is that ONCE YOU'VE PLAYED IT IN YOUR CITY - ITS OVER! But I can see myself planning a fun little girls weekend / road trip if there is a game in a city close enough. And if I find myself traveling to another city in my regular day to day life I can see myself doing a quick check to see if there is a game available there to play while I am there.
This providing a product that provides a couple of hours of escapism but more importantly gets us engaging in real life social interactions again!

Happy campers!
Our agency chose to do an outdoor scavenger hunt as our quarterly event with the whole organization. It was the perfect level of difficulty and fun combined!! The whole group really enjoyed it. Highly recommend to do it in the cooler months versus in the summer.

Bad experience
I do not recommend it a waste of time and money. The excruciating heat misexplained puzzles in the end we decided to leave without finishing the game.

Did activity on Saturday afternoon w/4 adults & 1 teenager. All enjoyed it. Took over 4 hours to complete. Learned a lot!

Fun afternoon in Dallas
Game was exactly as advertised and enjoyable to play. We found new places in a city that we’ve lived in for over a decade! Whole family spent time together and that’s really what a game is supposed to be for.

Bring a crowd, but have everyone make an account (free, and helps prevent crowding)
We had fun!
We took a group that was probably too big and had a few kids that were too young. Since not everyone could see the phone with the clues or words they would wander around and become disinterested. We ended up taking screenshots and texting them around the group to include everyone better. I learned later that you can have multiple people scan the QR codes and follow along - they just need an account.
Without giving spoilers, our favorite part was a location with many real world clues to spot. We split it up and spread out to complete it, and everyone enjoyed participating!
The end was near a pastry shop, which we purchased and loved sitting and snacking on a treat while solving a longer puzzle.
I bought Denver as well, and am excited to do that one. We'll take a different approach with that one and allow more time to shop or eat along the way.
