We had an amazing time with Alice, exploring the farm and picking our own herbs, fruits and vegetables, and then cooking some authentic Vietnamese dishes. Alice was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this for visitors to Vietnam!

Amazing experience, truly learn how to cook like a native Vietnamese!
Alice was one of the best tour guides and AirBnB Experiences I've ever had the joy of being a part of - in any part of the world.
Her English is fluent. She is also from the Vietnamese countryside, so she is deeply familiar with all aspects of the farm's nature, including the growing of the plants/vegetables, herbal properties of the plants/vegetables, animals, weather, and history.
Lastly, she's just a really bubbly person and enjoyable to be around. Very hospitable and good communicator.

A special rural cooking experience for our little family
“The food was great and I loved doing all the cooking the farm was so good it was great”. This is the feedback from our 9 year old daughter who absolutely loved the whole experience, picking green papaya, star fruit, learning about different Vietnamese herbs and cooking for hours in an open air kitchen surrounded by banana trees and butterflies. We bought a cookbook and will try to recreate at home in London!

Amazing Cooking Class with the Wonderful Chef Alice
We had such an incredible experience at this cooking class in Vietnam! My son Jamie and I loved every minute of it.
One of the highlights was visiting the farm, where we picked our own fresh vegetables. We also got to see water buffalo and cows, learned how crops are grown, and even discovered how oyster mushrooms are cultivated and harvested. It made the entire experience so much more meaningful.
The food we cooked was absolutely delicious, but what truly made the class unforgettable was our chef, Alice. She was bright, energetic, and so much fun! Her wonderful sense of humor kept everyone laughing, and she guided us through every step with skill, patience, and enthusiasm.
I also have a gluten allergy, and Alice was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making sure I knew exactly what ingredients to use and how to safely prepare each dish. I truly appreciated the extra care she took.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam, and I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic, hands-on cooking experience. Thank you, Alice, for making it such a memorable day!

Fun, interesting, yummy food.
We had a great time touring the farm and cooking with our guide, Alice. We were collected and dropped off to our accomdation comfortably and given plenty of water and tea to rehydrate. Alice is so lovely and infectiously positive. The food we cooked was amazing. The best we have had in Vietnam. I really liked touring the farm and seeing how the farm worked.

A delicious day of learning with HCMC Cooking School
A terrific day with Chef Alice learning how to make a number of delicious Vietnamese dishes and some time visiting the Cu Chi tunnels. A nice way to spend a little time out side of HCMC.
Alice was a great communicator with lots of helpful information about the fresh ingredients and clear instructions, she was particularly good guiding our 11 year old son in his cooking efforts.
Would definitely recommend.

Nature and Cooking
It was a wonderful experience , enjoying nature, learning about various types of herbs, plants, fruit trees. plucking your own vegetables to cook later. Understand techniques to pull the raddish / lemon grass roots up.
Chef Holi was very patience explaining each type of plants / trees to us as we explore the farm and as we start preparing the ingredients, making the sauces, he tests us 5 finger rules, 4 finger rule, and father+ mother sauce. You never forget them. We get to taste every dish instantly after cooking, when it is hot and crispy. Is Yuumylicious ! Food of your Labor. Will surely practise them when we return to our country. Thanks Chef Holi and HCM Cooking School.

Great food, cooking class, and cheerful environment
The HCM cooking class, led by Alice, was so much fun! From picking the vegetables and herbs and fruits ourselves in the adjacent organic garden to the step by step help in preparing a delicious meal, all the details to make it the most meaningful for us were made. The menu, the set up, utensils, happy vibes--all of it was there and Alice was delightful. Highly recommend fitting this in a trip.
