This is absolutely NOT an excursion for “all fitness levels,” as advertised. I even asked the contact person three different times if mobility-impaired elders could do this and was assured that they would be okay. The sights were phenomenal, but we had to leave the grandparents at the base of the fortress at the top, and then hold their hands to help them walk down every single step down the mountain. It was miserable for everyone. If you don’t have anyone in your group with bad knees, this is perfect. But you need to be well-aware of what you’re getting yourself into.
As stated on the activity page, this tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for all cases of reduced mobility. The suitability of participating in this activity can be assessed most accurately by you, as only you are familiar with the actual mobility level and physical capabilities of the members of your group. Nevertheless, we truly appreciate your feedback and will review how we can make the activity description even clearer for future travelers with mobility limitations.
