東京・浅草の浅草寺のシンボル的な玄関「雷門」です。 門を縁取ると、風神夫人と雷神雷神が立っています。 中央に吊り下げられた巨大な赤い提灯は、知名度が高く、写真映えするランドマークとなっている。
浅草寺へと続く活気ある商店街には、日本の伝統的なお菓子やお土産、手芸品などが並ぶ。
浅草寺は、東京で最も古く有名な寺院のひとつとして、慈悲の女神である観音を祀っています。 その象徴的な雷門は人気のフォトスポット。 ※ 本堂は午後6時に閉まりますので、それ以降は入場できない場合があります。
浅草寺の隣にある浅草神社は、浅草寺を開いた3人の男を祀る由緒ある神社です。 17世紀に建てられ、第二次世界大戦を生き延び、現在も日本の神仏調和の象徴となっている。 また、東京有数の祭りである三社祭が開催されることでも知られる。

Being a first timer in Tokyo can be intimidating, but having Mio as our guide made me and my partner feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. Mio was very insightful on every part of the tour, asked us questions and helped us understand the shrine and its history. Her English is immaculate and overall made us feel very welcome.

This walking tour was simple wonderful. It was really lovely to have all the intricate details explained that we might have otherwise overlooked. Hana-san, who guided us, was so friendly and kind. She even was able to tailor the experience a little to us specifically as we went along. At the end of the tour we were planning to get dinner and Hana gave us a great recommendation for nearby. It was an incredible atmosphere and we are so grateful to have experienced this.

My friends and I were visiting Tokyo for a few days, but we were all worried about where to go and what to do. I am so glad that we decided on this tour! Not only was it informative, but it was fun and interesting as well. Our tour guide had a bubbly personality, and the overall atmosphere felt less like a tour and more like having a local friend guiding us around.
