エメラルド ブッダは、タイのバンコクにある王宮複合施設の一部であるワット プラ ケオとしても知られるエメラルド ブッダの寺院にある、高く評価されている仏像です。この像は緑色の翡翠でできており、タイで最も神聖な物と考えられています。 2,000 年以上前にインドで生まれたと考えられており、東南アジア中のさまざまな寺院に収容されています。エメラルド仏はタイ国王によって季節の衣装をまとっており、衣装の交換はタイの文化において重要な儀式です。
涅槃寺としても知られるワット ポーは、タイのバンコクにある有名な仏教寺院です。この寺院には、長さ 46 メートル、高さ 15 メートルの巨大な涅槃像があります。像は金箔で覆われ、足には複雑なマザー オブ パールの象眼細工が施されています。有名な涅槃仏に加えて、ワット ポーはその美しい建築物、華麗な装飾、伝統的なタイ式マッサージ学校でも知られています。この寺院はバンコクで人気の観光名所であり、近くの王宮やワット アルンと一緒に訪れることがよくあります。

A fantastic day seeing the temples and palaces of Bangkok. Pook looked after us throughout the day and couldn’t do more for us. He took our picture wherever we went so we have some lovely memories to take back home.

In general good, we needed to know more things in the temples because we went a little quickly. After the first temple they took us to a jewelry store where they try to sell you jewelry with Sapphire and Rubies. You are there for about an hour and a half and it is a lot of waste of time. Afterwards they take you to eat at a cheap kitchen where the food is delicious but low quality. You know the common, nothing extraordinary. Our guide was Alice overall she was good.

This was a great tour seeing all the main temples and palace. Everything ran smoothly & the contact from the tour operator beforehand was excellent. Our guide Benny & our driver were both great & really flexible. The lunch at a local Thai restaurant was lovely.
