Our guide Peter was excellent. He's a local and knows Katutura well so he's well-qualified to guide you to the various markets and sample local food. And if there is something you particularly want to see, he'll know where to go. He was prompt in picking us up in his own vehicle. Highly recommended.
We were never contacted by the company so we never went on the tour. I have been trying to contact someone but no one has responded. Please respond for a refund.

Eighty percent of Windhoek's population lives in Katutura, and our excellent guide did a wonderful job of introducing us to everyday life in this township. His first-hand experience and insight helped us better understand and appreciate life in this township.
Our guide, Peter, was fabulous! We visited and experienced things, very different from our daily lives! Well worth it!

Very interesting tour. Interaction with the locals, we stopped at various places of interest. Peter gave us all the background informations.
With Peter we had a guide who knows Katutura very well and who brought us very many different areas of life there. He answered all of our questions and shared with us at various stages of life there... not only in the beautiful things, but he also showed us how immigration inexorably expands the area and what problems it creates.
The tour showed a completely different side of Windhoek. Peter, our guide, could tell a lot about it, he lived there for a while himself. It's very lively and busy. We ate something in one of the countless eateries (even tried a worm) and drank beer in a shebeen. I found it impressive and valuable
