First day upon arriving at Egypt was already an excellent experience. Went to the market to chill out at a local café, had shisha for thr first time, strolled around the narrow streets in the market, picked up a couple of papyrus art and now I can't wait to dig into my first koshari!

Hidden Corners of Cairo
Exploring Islamic Cairo on foot gave the whole experience a different feeling than simply passing by the landmarks. The guide mixed historical facts with local stories, making each stop memorable. A moment that stayed with me was watching sunlight filter through the old stone streets while nearby shops slowly opened for the day.
