Great experience with lots of fun things to take back!
Super fun activity, Kana our guide was very friendly, gave refreshments and individual guidance for each person. We were a total of 4 people. The fee was worth it for the vibes alone, but we got all sorts of gifts we could write on and give to people back home such as gift cards, fans, a pouch, and a keychain. We also for a stamp with our own name in hiragana that we could customise. The session lasted an hour, we arrived early but that was no problem and we got some extra time out of it. It's different from just buying souvenirs for back home and best for anyone who wants to give calligraphy a try in a nice and relaxed atmosphere qitj no pressure.

Relaxing and enjoyable experience
I went in expecting to just make a personalised stamp and ended up having a full calligraphy lesson. No matter how much I practised I felt like I got worse as time went on. Regardless, Kana-san was very friendly and hospitable, patiently taught us how to do certain brush strokes and allowed us to practise until we felt confident enough to put that practice to use. We decorated our own postcards and a hand fan with our own chosen kanji words while we waited for our name stamps to be done. We stayed for over an hour, finishing our complementary drinks and candy and received a couple of goodies as well. I would recommend this experience if you're looking for a moment of zen in the bustling city of Tokyo.

Lovely Time
The experience was wonderful and this is my second time coming (will not be the last). For anyone going to or is currently in Tokyo, I would recommend checking it out. The stamps are gorgeous and you can learn calligraphy the same time. The instructor is nice and helpful.

Great Calligraphy Experience
This was so much fun! The instructor was so kind and we were able to learn and practice so much! This is such a unique experience for anyone visiting Tokyo!

Incredible 5 star, must do experience in Tokyo!
This was a phenomenal private experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Kana was an excellent instructor… she was patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire session both fun and engaging. She spoke and understood English, as well. We also received a wonderful variety of souvenirs, including a tote bag, keychain, coaster, and a mini bag. During the experience, we created beautiful pieces by stamp inking a scroll, a fan, and several postcards, all of which made for meaningful keepsakes. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. It was a memorable, hands-on activity and one of the highlights of my trip.
