We decided to book this tour because some of the excursions offered through Carnival were expensive and didn’t really meet our needs. I’m so glad we chose Roatan Tucan Adventures instead! The directions for finding our driver once we arrived at the cruise port were easy to follow. Our driver, Diana, was wonderful! She took us to several great locations around Roatan, Honduras, including a rum and rum cake tasting, and then we headed to West Bay Beach, which was absolutely beautiful. One of my friends forgot her towel, and Diana was even prepared with extra towels for us to use. That was such a thoughtful touch and showed how well she takes care of her guests. We ended the tour with some souvenir shopping and a stop at the Roatan sign to take pictures. We had a great experience from beginning to end. If you’re visiting Roatan on a cruise and want a more personalized experience, I definitely recommend booking with Roatan Tucan Adventures—and be sure to ask for Diana! She took great care of us and helped make our day in Roatan memorable.

Jeff was a wonderful guide. We hired him to take us to West Bay beach. After driving us there, he waited for us, then took us to the Rum factory for a scenic overlook point. He then suggested a local restaurant which was delicious. His attitude was patient and he made it clear that he was available to take us anywhere we wished to go. Couldn’t ask for a better guide.

Having a personal driver was a great experience. Kisha was friendly and personable. She was informative about Roatan on our drive to the beach. At the beach she made sure we were comfortably situated and was nearby for any questions or needs that we had. After we had enough time at the beach resort we wanted lunch and she took us to a great restaurant. We made stops for shopping and a chocolate factory. We were back to the ship in the time we requested. All in all a really nice experience.

West Bay beach was great, the massage was fantastic and very affordable! Our private driver was awesome & very knowledgeable and kind!

This was the perfect excursion if you’re looking for a chill, low-key day in Roatán. We spent our time relaxing at West Bay Beach, and the water was warm, crystal clear, and absolutely beautiful. Beach chairs were included, which was great. There weren’t umbrellas, so we found a spot under a tree that gave us plenty of shade, so it worked out perfectly. One of the best parts of this excursion was having a private driver. He stayed with us the entire time, so we never had to worry about transportation or watching the clock. When we decided we were ready to leave the beach, he simply drove us back to the cruise ship. There wasn’t a packed schedule or a bunch of activities, which was exactly what we wanted that day. Just beautiful water, a beach chair, some shade, and nowhere we had to be until we were ready to go back. Such an easy and relaxing way to spend our day in Roatán! 🌴☀️🌊

Amy was our driver and she was awesome. She made a special stop so we could buy a bag of coffee. Best drink was from the locals serving out of a kayak in the sea. Pineapple with rum or coconut filled with Pima Colada for $10. They were delicious.

Having a private driver was wonderful and worthwhile. I will definitely use again for future travel. Traffic was horrible in Roatan and our driver knew we needed to leave early to get back to the ship on time. I asked the driver to see a sloth and he took us to a place with monkeys, parrots, and sloths. We needed cash and he took storage reliable ATM.

We could not have asked for a more enjoyable time with Tyler as our guide. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We visited the rum shop, a nice resort with beach access and had a great local lunch with a spectacular view. The beach was beautiful and water was so clear. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.
