ケープ半島を巡る忘れられない旅に出発しましょう。ツアーガイドは、この地域で最も息をのむような景色やランドマークを案内します。 1日の始まりは大西洋岸沿いの景色の良いドライブ。ハウト湾で休憩し、シール島への船旅をお楽しみください。シール島の自然の生息地で、遊び心あふれるアザラシやその他の海洋生物を見つけることができます。 次に、チャップマンズ・ピーク・ドライブのドラマチックな断崖と曲がりくねった道で、ハウト湾を見下ろす素晴らしい展望台でスパークリングワインを片手に優雅なひとときをお過ごしください。 さらに進むと、アフリカ大陸の南西端に位置するケープポイント自然保護区へ。 ここでは、ケープポイントの険しい美しさを探索します。 ボルダーズ・ビーチに立ち寄って、アフリカペンギンの有名なコロニーと間近で触れてみましょう。 これらのチャーミングな生き物は、1日の冒険を楽しく彩り、絶好の撮影機会を生み出します。

プライベートツアーは、ケープタウンとその周辺の宿泊先からの便利なピックアップから始まります。通常、9:00頃です。スケジュールに合わせて柔軟に対応いたします。 そこからケープタウンの歴史的な中心部を短いシティオリエンテーションドライブで一日を寛ぎ、主要なランドマークや注目すべき建物を通過し、半島に沿って旅が展開される前に、都市の感覚を提供します。 喜望峰やボルダーズビーチのペンギンコロニーを目指す旅は、都会の街並みから海岸の美しさへと体験の移り変わりが始まります。
最初に立ち寄るのは、ケープタウンを代表する文化的に豊かな地域のひとつである活気あるボ・カープ（マレー岬地区）です。 色とりどりの街並みを散策し、ケープタウンの遺産のシンボルとなっている名家の写真も撮りましょう。 ビジュアルの枠を超えて、このエリアには深い歴史的・文化的意義が潜んでいる。 ガイドはケープマレーのコミュニティ、明るく塗装された家屋に隠された意味、そしてこのユニークな街を形作った歴史について地元の洞察を共有します。 運が良ければ、地元の人たちと挨拶したり、温かく迎え入れてくれる雰囲気を体験したりできるかもしれません。
ハウトベイを出発し、世界で最も美しい海岸沿いの道路の1つであるチャップマンズ・ピーク・ドライブ（天候が良ければ）をドライブすると、旅はシフトし始めます。 山腹に彫り込まれた、海の上に伸びるこの道路風は、一方はドラマチックな崖、もう一方は果てしない青。 言わなくてもスピードが落ちてしまう瞬間のひとつです。 山々が湾を包み込み、四方八方に眺望が広がるハウト湾を一望できる絶景ポイントに立ち寄ります。 そして、これ以上は良くならないと思っていた矢先に、小さな驚きが待っています。 一瞬、グラスの泡を手に取って、静けさ、スケール、そしてずっと後に残るような景色を、シンプルにすべて取り入れてください。 カメラが準備できているか確認するだけでなく、その場にいるだけでいいので、一瞬だけ時間をとってください。
ノールトフックに向かって海岸線を進むと、道が開けて渓谷を一望でき、眼下には手つかずの長いビーチが広がる。 ここに任意停止がありますが、これは止まなければならないからではなく、気持ちが良いからです。 こちらに足を踏み入れると、ケープタウンの地元で焙煎された最高級のコーヒーを堪能したり、小さな独立系ショップでハンドクラフト作品や地元で作られた商品、ユニークなお土産を閲覧したり、新鮮な農場の農産物や職人の菓子を堪能することもできます。 ここでの静かなハイライトは、馬が村の中を穏やかに移動する様子で、通常の観光体験とはかけ離れた、簡素で地に足のついた瞬間です。 そして、その先の海岸線に目を向けると、眼下に広がる広々としたビーチに沿って馬の姿もチラッと見られるかもしれません。 昼間のゆるやかな間、慌ただしく、個人的で、思いがけず思い出に残る。
ケープ半島を代表するポイント、ケープポイント／喜望峰自然保護区に到着します。 保護区内を進むと、ジアスとヴァスコ・ダ・ガマの歴史的なモニュメントも通ります。このルートに沿って見ることができ、この海岸線の物語に深みを与えます。 ここからケープポイントへと進み、ハイライトが待っています。 喜望峰の看板でお馴染みのあの写真を、特別なハイライトとして撮影しましょう！ 灯台に立つとケープ半島を一望でき、晴れた日には大西洋と偽の湾の両方が見える。 その視点の一つが、すべてを真に可視化するのです。 保護区をドライブしながら、ヒヒ、シマウマ、イーランド、様々なアンテロープ種、ダチョウ、様々な鳥類など、この自然環境を自由に歩き回る野生動物に目を光らせましょう 野性味があって開放的で、完全にフィルターがかかっていないような風景です。
喜望峰からケープポイントまで車で向かいます。ケープ ポイントに到着したら、15 分間のハイキングか、フライング ダッチマン ケーブルカーでケープ ポイント灯台まで行くかを選択します (運行している場合)。ここでは、大西洋からの冷たいベンゲラ川とインド洋の暖かいアグラス海流が出会うケープ ポイントとして知られるアフリカ最南西の地点も探索します。
次の目的地は、ケープタウンで最も有名な住民であるアフリカペンギンの生息地であるボルダーズビーチです。 岩の間を移動したり、澄んだ海を泳いだり、まったく邪魔されずに一日を過ごす姿を、展望デッキから至近距離で眺めることができます。 この瞬間には静かに特別な何かがあり、シンプルでリアルで、予想外に感動する。 遊歩道を進むと、好奇心旺盛な小さなキャラクターが1匹か2匹ほど近くにうろうろしているのを見かけることもあり、ここがいかに自然に近い場所であるかを思い出させてくれます。 よりパーソナルな体験をしたい方には、少し歩くと隠れ家的なビーチに行けます。日によっては、ペンギンと同じ海で泳ぐ機会もあります。 単なるツアーのハイライトではなく、多くの人にとってケープタウンを訪れる全体のハイライトとなるでしょう。
思い出に残る一日を過ごした後は、宿泊施設までお送りします（18:00頃）。忘れられない経験を思い出す十分な時間があります。

Today, Wednesday 13th May 2026, we were on a tour with Hylton Ross tours of, Cape Point, Boulders Beach Penquins, Hout Bay village, Chapman Peak, Good Hope nature reserve, Simons Town and Cape Peninsula. It was a fantastic day long tour with a great driver who had a great knowledge of the tour area, I'm sorry but I can't remember his name, but he was absolutely fantastic. The scenery, boat trip in Hout Bay, wonderful landscapes and scenic drive were stunning. We were able to watch penguins at Boulders Beach, wild Ostriches in Good Hope and seals also at several locations. A great tour by Hylton Ross tours. Thanks once again.
Leonard is fantastic! He is really a 6 not a 5. The most gracious and flexible guide I have ever had. I spent 7 days with him, and could spend more. We saw everything from wines, to Cape Town, to Cape Agulhas. We saw baboons, Penguins, Dassies. He did not care about the time but about our experience. I have used numerous tour guides including A&K, and Leonard beats them all. I cannot recommend African SunTours and Leonard enough!

Had this tour as the last day of a longer 3-day itinerary. Leonard did a great job tailoring the tour around what I liked, slowing down where I wanted to stay longer or skipping places I wasn't interested in. He really cares about leaving you happy and doesn't mind adjusting the itinerary on the fly. Everything was super good, from the timeliness, to the vehicle, the pleasant chats. Really no complaints! Super recommended!

I went on a tour Leonard Botha from Afriican Sun Tours. The Cape Peninsula and Penguin Beach were and amazing wonder of the world. Not to mention the amazing wonder of the tour guide Leaonard I had. We went to Ostrich farm (close to Cape of Good Hope) which was great. Penguin Beach is a once in a lifetime spectacular place that you cannot miss. Then we went for a great dinner close by. You cannot do this amazing once in a life time tour independently and must hire Leaonard Otha from African Sun Tors.

Leonard arranged a helicopter tour of the Peninsula and then took me on the drive of the area I had seen from the air. It was awesome to experience both from the land and air. Leonard is a superb host and a very nice man, I was travelling solo and Leonard made me feel comfortable from the start. It was like driving around with a friend who has intimate knowledge of all the best places to go and really interesting details about the history of Capetown. I would rate Leonard 11 out of 10 and cannot recommend him highly enough!
