A positive experience, it's a beautiful city although quite difficult to walk around the centre due to the large cobbled stones and hilly terrain. The guide was good although not as passionate as Eva, the guide who was on our trip to Rila monastery who was fantastic. The driver was good and the punctuality and organization too.

We booked this trip as we thought it looked interesting, and I'm pleased to say that it delivered on all levels. Our guide Martin was fantastic and shared a lot of knowledge with us, as he led us around the city. We found the whole experience fascinating, and would definitely recommend it as a must do excursion.

On the tour, the accompanying guide did not speak Spanish; she played a translated recording of her presentation on the bus. That was all. On the way back, she only spoke to the group in English and Italian and not a word of Spanish. In Plovdiv, however, Bibiana, our guide, did her job very well; you couldn't ask for more. Excellent. I would have appreciated one more hour to see the center of Plovdiv and return to the old town. It is a beautiful city, with a lot to visit. I would have liked the bus to stop somewhere else; you could only get off at the departure point.

Great day out, value for money, beautiful city. Well organised, coach guides Pablo and Nico excellent and city guide Ilea also. (Not sure of name spellings). We thought Plovdiv much nicer than Sofia. Maybe over next few years Sofia will benefit from a little TLC. 😀

The guide Diana was wonderful. The bus they gave us was practically ready for the scrapyard. It gave us a scare on the way back.

The guides were super nice and careful that nobody got lost! They made the old town super interesting, and just the right amount of time was left there to explore the city on my own. I would really recommend it if you are spending a couple of days in Sofia!

Good tour. 2 hr walking tour with English guide, then 2.5 hrs on own time. Plenty to see and visit. Overall great tour.

I would have preferred to enter the Roman Theater and spend time there, for the guide to have told us stories that happened there, than to have spent so much time in churches. I know this would have made the excursion more expensive, but in my opinion, the difference would be worth it.

Beautiful experience with Elia! ❤️ A young, brilliant, local girl who won us over right from the start with her energy, her friendliness, and above all with her great preparation. She knows the area deeply and manages to describe it in an interesting, engaging, and never boring way, conveying all the passion she has for her land. A special mention goes to her sweetness with our Leo, who is just 2 years old: she was very good with him, patient, attentive to his needs, and capable of engaging him naturally. For us parents, this really made the difference and allowed us to experience it with even more serenity. Elia is one of those guides who doesn't just simply tell you about a place: she makes you experience it. Knowledgeable, authentic, cheerful, and truly pleasant to listen to. We recommend her with all our heart and, if we have the chance, we will definitely choose her again! ❤️ City Tour is the best!
