We had a fantastic day exploring Muscat with Oman Compass Tours. The itinerary included Al Alam Palace, Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts, Bait Al Zubair Museum and Mutrah Souq. Each stop showed us a different part of Oman’s history and culture. Our Omani guide, Sultan, added great value by explaining local traditions and stories. The sunset dhow cruise was the perfect ending, with peaceful sea views and beautiful coastal scenery. We also had the opportunity to try traditional Omani cuisine, which made the experience even more memorable.

A Great Mix of History and Sea
The highlight was definitely the two-hour sunset dhow cruise. Sailing along Muscat’s coastline while watching the sun go down over the Oman Sea was peaceful and unforgettable. Our Omani guide, Ali, was knowledgeable and explained the history and culture of each place we visited. We also enjoyed experiencing traditional Omani food. A great combination of history, culture, sightseeing, sea views and local flavors.

The Perfect Muscat Heritage Experience
This was an excellent introduction to Muscat and Omani culture. We started with Al Alam Palace and the historic Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts, then visited Bait Al Zubair Museum, where we learned more about Oman’s traditions and history. Walking through Mutrah Souq gave us a completely different atmosphere, with local shops, perfumes, handicrafts and traditional products.

Beautiful Muscat at Sunset
We loved this private Muscat tour. The heritage sites were fascinating, especially Al Alam Palace and the old forts. The sunset dhow cruise was the highlight, offering beautiful views of the coastline. Our guide, Saud, was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable.

Muscat Heritage and Sunset Cruise
A wonderful way to discover Muscat in one day. The tour combined the city’s heritage with beautiful coastal scenery. We visited Al Alam Palace, the historic forts, Bait Al Zubair Museum and Mutrah Souq before enjoying a relaxing sunset dhow cruise. Our Omani guide, Musab, made the experience especially interesting by sharing local history, traditions and stories throughout the tour.
