Mike was excellent. He knew a lot about all the destinations and shared his knowledge. He made everything interesting and spent time explaining everything. He made the excursion memorable and enjoyable even when the weather was not great.

We can’t say enough good things about our guide, Rita. We booked a small group tour through TripAdvisor, and it did not disappoint. She went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and included in the conversation. Taking most scenic routes, telling us about Portugal’s history, economy, arts, and culture. Very knowledgeable on the subjects, with fluent English, the conversation flew easily. Every stop we made, she had history ready, pointing to the most interesting cultural and historical aspects, recommending places to eat and shop. On the way back to Lisbon, we were treated to a customized show of traditional Portuguese music with explanations and translations. Driving through the countryside with the background of traditional music made all of us feel part of the land, even for a few minutes. Highly recommend it!
You’ll get to see a lot, and the time goes fast. Mike was extremely knowledgeable on the history of what we saw. It was a fun experience.
Rita was and the experience were excellent. I went with my 10 year old son, and he had a wonderful time as well. I would have liked to experience more at the top of Nazare. This is not Rita’s fault, perhaps a bit more detailed itinerary would be helpful.
Our guide Rita was very personable and professional. She was a safe driver. She showed great knowledge of history and current news about Portugal. She was helpful and patient and provided an excellent service which made it an excellent trip. Will do this trip again and recommend it to others as well.

Alex was a wonderful tour guide. He had great energy and did an excellent job giving us history. He has a great personality.
I did an organized day tour of these places, which allowed me to see all of them in one day, which is near impossible to do on public transportation. Each place was fabulous and I highly recommend doing this as a day tour.
