Fantastic tour with Diogo! As we were boarding the bus, a fellow tourist was the victim of an attempted pick pocket. She was very upset, but Diogo comforted her and then informed us all what happened. He really was great in addressing this situation. Diogo set the tone that we would all be safe and encouraged us to watch out for each other. The tour itself was good. It was a long day, but Diogo was very informative and entertaining. He kept us all laughing and frankly, he made the tour. He is a great guide. I enjoyed the beach town of Cascais the best.

It was a large group, but well organized. A must do tour. Have good walking shoes, lots of hills. It was a little cooler than Lisbon.

JLo was an excellent guide! He was funny, shared so much history, and gave local recommendations for every place that we stopped. Much appreciative to the driver Diego for the smooth and comfortable ride around all of these places. Great duo for an amazing day of exploration!

This is one of the best tours we took. Ivo and Michel were the best. Ivo is very knowledgeable, professional and funny. Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, J-Lo, provided a thorough historical background of the castles and other historical landmarks. His great sense of humor kept our attention the entire time.

We booked the Sintra/Cascais day trip on 24/9, we thought we would have the option to go into Pena Palace and gardens obviously paying extra, but this wasn't offered. Our guide Pedro started out as friendly but as trip progressed his behaviour became very inappropriate, making suggestions and jokes about drug taking, which made our group feel quite uncomfortable. We were taken to a beach where there was all but no visibility due to heavy cloud/fog which seemed a bit pointless. As a person who is very short, I had to be constantly helped to get in and out of the minibus, I asked if he had a step but he said no, I do occasionally use a walking stick if a bit fatigued, and Pedro constantly kept grabbing my arm to try and assist me on stairs etc, I told him I would ask if I needed help, and as a consequence of this I was being separated from the rest of the group on my own with him. I am sure he was only trying to help, but it was embarrassing for me at times. On the whole we did get to see alot but there were no options to buy tickets for the palace. Also Pedro should refrain from inappropriate conversations, it's not very professional as a guide.

My favorite part of our trip to Portugal! This experience offers an excellent opportunity to not only see some of the most beautiful towns in Portugal, but also learn so much about its rich history and traditions. Mario was an amazing guide who didn’t skip a beat when it came to hosting us. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the sites, structures, environments, and everything in between. Also very funny and personable, he never ran out of steam! I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen sights more beautiful than on this trip. Things to know: -We use a large bus for traveling and it’s easy to keep anything you may bring or buy safe on the bus. -There is a significant amount of walking including up hill. This is unavoidable if you’re planning to visit these towns and I would bring water. -It can be breezier in Sintra as it sits up much higher on land, however in late September when I went temperatures were still in the 70s and I did not get as chilly as I anticipated. Still bring a light jacket just incase.

Very entertaining, exhausting to elderly folks but really interesting. The tour guide, Joachim Lopes (J LO) was amazing.
