I travelled on September 3. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable except for the fact that there was no gold class available on the train specified and the fact that it (the train) was cancelled at the last minute. I was most impressed by the way the tour operator went out of his way to return us to Cairns. I believe that refunds for the train tickets are available. As I paid for gold class and it was not available for the cancelled train I request a refund on this component of the tour as well as that for travel . Your advice as to how this is to be claimed would be appreciated Philip D A’Vard

If travelling up on the Skytrain, take your time at the stops on the way up. Unless you want to participate in the cost plus activities at Kuranda, the time there is too long. The Kuranda Scenic Train ride is stunning and very informative.

This tour was completely stress free. Flexible with hotel drop off/pick up, informative and organised. Man was an absolutely joy as our driver and tour planner for the day.

Very well organised by Man, good communication from him before the day as well, with pick ups times and location. He even dropped me back to my hotel that wasn’t listed on the list. Fully recommend Man for your Kuranda experience, he is wonderful

What a fun and informative day this was! The Skyrail was tremendous. Traveling over the rainforest gave you a sense of awe. The ranger talk at the first stop was wonderful, imparting much information in a short amount of time. Kuranda town was an experience. We took a quick walk along a trail into the rainforest. How many people get to say they've done that? Then the Ride back down on the historic train was quite inexperienced. You stopped at the gorge for us to get off and take some great photographs and also slow down at a waterfalls along the way. That was just impressive. The train ride down was about 2 hours and it was quite enjoyable. Overall, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and found it well worth the money. We would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone.

This self guided tour was a good value and a nice day out. Man, our driver, was friendly and explained everything well. 9am pick up from hotel and drop off at Skyrail. There are two stops along the way and staff will tell you when to hop off and on. 11am arrival at Kuranda gives you time to eat, shop and visit any attractions not included in the tour price (koalas, butterflies and birds). 3pm scenic train back to Cairns where driver scoops you up at 5pm and returns you to your hotel.

It was awsome. The tour was very rekaxing and view were amazing. Our pick up guy Man was so friendly.

Pickup was on time and comfortable. The train ride was relaxed and informative. I enjoyed the sites in Kuranda. Unfortunately, weather (thunderstorms) stopped the sky rail service, but the guide was there to give a ride back to Cairns, so I didn’t have to wait for a bus. Much appreciated.
