We took the tour on Sat 12/13, at 1pm. Turned out to be just our family and our guide, Arno! It was like our own little private tour. We met Arno in the square, he actually found us as we’re were fumbling around trying to determine if we had the right meeting place. Arno was very knowledgeable as he grew up in Strasbourg and has studied its history and worked in local museums after university. He was very personable and we shared lots of laughs as we went market to market and took in the sights. He even gave us a couple recommendations for dinner. We found it very helpful as we returned later that night and had a much better sense of which markets we wanted to go back to. We only had 2 days here and taking tour helped us see everything in a short time. Bravo Arno!

Lovely tour of the markets. Arno was a great guide- provided lots of information about the history of Strasbourg and answered all our questions. It was very crowded (Saturday in December) but he easily navigated the group and made sure no one got lost. I had dinner at one of the restaurants he recommended and it was amazing. The Christmas tree light show at the end with the vin chaud was perfect. Thank you Arno!

We had booked a visit in French, but unfortunately, there was a couple of English with us, so Arnaud had to juggle the two languages Too bad for us, a little disappointed

The Musical Christmas tree that runs for 6 mins. It reminds me of my childhood memories. The beauty of Christmas market left me in awe.

This tour was a nice way to sample just a few of the 13 Christmas markets Strasbourg has to offer. We received information about the city and the markets and learned some tips for best ways to navigate the city during this high tourism period.

Viator provided a link that directed us to the wrong meeting place and we missed the tour. The tour guide wanted us to walk 2 kilometers to meet up with the group but that was too far for my mom. Unfortunately, Viator won’t provide a refund or credit and the tour company won’t return my messages. Very disappointed in the customer service here:(

This tour gave a nice intro to the markets with some history thrown in. Be advised if you do the 7pm tour, the markets close by the end of the tour.

Pierre gave an excellent and comprehensive tour of the Christmas Markets. He is very knowledgable and I learned a lot. He provided information on where to get things in the markets, different types of foods and places to visit in Strasbourg. I would highly recommend him.
