The itinerary was great visiting all popular spots in Biei & Furano. What falls below expectation was the information, planning and arrangements. First, the info for meeting point is again another mix up. Originally indicated as Sapporo TV tower on the site, we got the message from your agency to meet at Sapporo station. We double checked w them and they confirmed the new meet point. However, we soon realised that there is a group at TV tower indeed and yet another group at station. We were the only 2 guests to have to wait for the coach from TV tower to pick us up while the rest at station proceed with the tour. Another huge issue is that we were bumped off from the group which sign up for lunch buffet. We ended up seated on the worst possible seats in the coach - last row with a small window! Considering that we booked this almost 6 months ahead, we felt short changed to be assigned a ‘last minute’ seats! The group was also too big for the tour guide to manage. With 45 pax and an audio system that only reach out to first half of the coach, we ended not being able to hear what the guide was sharing. Most of the time, she was addressing the front row guests. While the attractions are beautiful and nice, the arrangement and misinformation resulted in a let down overall experience. PS. There was a email indicating a partial refund 2 days earlier for which the reason was not disclosed. We only know about the lunch issue on the trip and guess that was the reason for refund.
