The overall experience is good. Round trips from and back to Johannesburg, plus a 6-hr safari tour in the Pilanesberg National Park. Lots of wild animals found. The only pity is the rain.

absolutely fantastic
I arrived late in the evening and it turned out that my luggage had not come with me. And picked up very early the next day by Thiya tours. I started the tour a bit depressed because of the luggage... but after 5 minutes I felt completely at ease. The 3 hour drive to it it's totally worth it. We had a nice chat along the way and even stopped at a gas station so I could buy some stuff to get through the days without any luggage. The tour in the park is highly recommended, lots of knowledge but above all respect for the animals. Lots to see 3 of the Big 5 (no lions and only a dead buffalo) with an absolute dessert; cheetahs playing with wildebeest and the leopard that suddenly emerged from the tall grass! highly recommended

A great day - fantastic experience !
We spent a great day in an amazing place. The scenery is stunning and the guides are experimented, kind and very professional. Great to see all these animals in there natural habitat and while respecting their own peace and comfort. Guides are cautious to take great care of animals and we could see many of them without disturbing their peace. Special mention and thanks to Nhlanhla from Thiya Tours & Safaris who has made an experience unforgettable !

Great 1 day Safari experience!
I booked the 6 hour Safari tour and had a great time! My host, Nhlanhla was punctual and a fountain of knowledge on everything from the vibrant city of Johannesburg to the rich history of South Africa. The safari itself was fun. It was a relaxing day cruising in a jeep, where we saw quite a few elephants, rhinos, and African buffalos. I'd highly recommend it if you'd like a quick get away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg!

South African adventure
I went to South Africa on a business trip and decided to stay a few days longer to explore Johannesburg and the Pilanesberg National Park. A friend recommended Thiya, a company run by Mr Lucky, and I was pleased with the recommendation, as my overall experience was nothing less than brilliant. I was glad to be introduced to Johannesburg, its history, and its stunning nature by a professional expert. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and safe tour guide, Mr Lucky is your man.
