サン・ガッロ門はフィレンツェの古代の記念碑的な門の 1 つで、1285 年頃に市壁の第 6 環状列石の一部として建設されました。
サヴォナローラ広場は、歴史的中心部のすぐ外側に位置するエレガントな住宅街の広場で、19 世紀後半の壮大なウンベルティーノ様式の宮殿に囲まれており、風通しの良いブルジョワ的な雰囲気を醸し出しています。
サン・ドメニコ・ディ・フィエーゾレは、丘の中腹にある優雅な村落で、15 世紀に建てられたベアト・アンジェリコ修道院で有名です。この修道院は、フィレンツェの街並みを一望できる自然の高台としても機能しています。
フィエーゾレの活気ある歴史的中心地であり、古代ローマのフォーラム (Faesulae) の上に建てられました。 不規則な形の広場には、ドゥオーモ (サン ピエトロ大聖堂) が目立っています。 この街の市民的、宗教的中心地を代表するローマの大聖堂（ロムルス大聖堂）とプレトーリオ宮殿（市庁舎）があります。 ここから、考古学地区かサンフランチェスコ修道院のどちらを訪問するか選択できます。

丘の頂上に位置するこの教会は、宣教師博物館を収容する質素で静かなフランシスコ会の教会群であり、特にフィレンツェの街全体とアルノ渓谷を見渡す最も素晴らしい、最も広いパノラマビューを楽しめる場所として知られています。
スタディオ アルテミオ フランキは、ACF フィオレンティーナ サッカー チームの歴史的な本拠地であり、イタリア合理主義建築の傑作です。 技術者のピエール・ルイージ・ネルヴィによって設計され、1931年に開館したこの建物は、印象的な鉄筋コンクリート構造、特に象徴的なマラトーナタワーと片持ち屋根で有名です。

Such a fun day! Marcello was a very good guide. All the views were amazing
Great experience to leave the city for a couple of hours and see Fiesole including the very interesting Roman theatre and great views of Florence. Also includes the view back from Piazzale Michelangelo on the other side of the river. The golf cart is fun (as long as the weather is fine). Marcello was a charming driver/guide.
This was an excellent tour. Marcello was prompt, well informed and patient. The Abby and Roman ruins and museum were wonderful.
Marcelo was an excellent guide to show us around Florence. It was very nice to be able to see so much of the city and an organized way which then allow us to pinpoint more places we wanna do concentrate on. I highly recommend this mode to see the city as it was very flexible and we saw many things.
Sophia was great. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with her. She also offered suggestions and customized our tour and brought us to a wine window (one of the best) which was not on our tour. She even picked us up at our apt. Highly recommend this tour with Sophia. We loved her.
What a great ride! Marcello took through so many neighborhoods and explained the history of buildings and what they became. He took us all the way to the top of the hill where we could look down upon Florence… truly an incredible ride. Thank you Marcello!
We chose this tour because one of our members has a mobility issue. Marcello was fantastic! He asked us about our preferences and then built an itinerary that worked for us. He took great pride in his city which made the tour even more enjoyable. He dropped us off near our chosen shopping spot and recommended a great restaurant. Highly recommend this tour. You will experience views not available on the standard walking tours.
This was a great experience and perfect way to spend our first morning in Florence. Marcello took us all around Florence, pointing out the important places, allowed us time to take pictures, and shared some history with us. He had a great sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable. He even stopped at a local cafe and bought us coffee in recognition of our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you, Marcello!
