Ayat was an excellent guide – very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She brought the old district of Jeddah to life and answered all my questions about Saudi culture and daily life. My main goal was to truly understand how people live here, and she delivered that completely. The whole experience felt warm, welcoming and personal because of her. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Al Balad is a beautiful and fascinating place and being guided by Ayat added another dimension in the historical and cultural context she provided. Ayat has post-graduate qualifications in Interior Design so she has a keen appreciation of the architecture and decorative crafts on display and she communicates her enthusiasm fluently and with warmth. It was great to try some of the local specialities and to have recourse to a local expert. Highly recommended.
