The experience itself and the tour were really enjoyable, and we had a great time overall. The only disappointing part was that we specifically booked this tour because it advertised an English-speaking guide, but unfortunately, the guide spoke almost exclusively in another language throughout the trip. Thankfully, we were traveling with locals who were able to translate for us, but about 99% of the tour was not conducted in English. As a result, we missed a lot of the information and explanations that were shared with the rest of the group. I would recommend the tour itself, but I would not recommend booking the English-speaking option unless you can confirm that an English-speaking guide will actually be provided. The lack of communication significantly impacted our experience.

Picked up at 430am sharp from hotel were given return ferry tickets straight away and dropped off at port (around 30 mins) got 2 hour ferry across and met with another driver (main driver for the day Manny) he was super friendly and helpful talking in both Tagalog and English. The tour itinerary was in a slightly different order but that’s fine as the chocolate hills was completed first as it was the furthest away. There was no pressure on how long to take or rushing around which was great. The river cruise lunch was nice with plenty of choice and selection and live music also. The only let down really was the lemur and butterfly park it’s not clean and the animals are in small cages there and don’t look like they are particularly well cared for, other than that it is definitely worth doing as it shows you the highlights of Bohol in a day.

This was an excellent day trip from Cebu to Bohol and absolutely worth the money. Manny was our driver and guide in Bohol, and he was phenomenal, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely made the day enjoyable from start to finish. We covered a lot without feeling rushed: Chocolate Hills, a relaxing Loboc River lunch, seeing the tarsiers, Guwaon Cave, and the Blood Compact Monument. A personal highlight was holding a python for the first time, something I never expected to do and won’t forget. Semar handled our transfers to and from the hotel and Cebu ferry and was just as professional. Our return ferry was delayed by about an hour, which was unfortunate, but the tour company handled it exactly right, they ensured someone was still there to pick us up and get us back to the hotel without any stress. Logistics were smooth, communication was solid, and the experience delivered exactly what was advertised. If you’re on the fence about doing Bohol as a day trip from Cebu, do it, this tour makes it easy and worthwhile.

The tour was beautifully coordinated, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even though it was a rainy day, it turned out to be the perfect weather for an unforgettable ATV ride. Our guide was warm, cheerful, and truly attentive—making sure each of us felt safe and cared for. That meant so much to us, especially as parents in our 60s, and for my son and his wife in their late 30s. We had asked for a guide who could help us connect more deeply with the places we visited, and they went above and beyond. Every person we encountered—from the driver to the guides—treated us with such kindness and professionalism. Thank you so much, Cebu Tours PH, for making this a memory our family will always cherish. Communication through email was easy and efficient, which made everything even smoother. I wholeheartedly recommend Cebu Tours PH to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-organized adventure.

Trip was really great, would definitely recommend Bohol as a travel destination. One thing worth mentioning is the start of the trip - so we got up early around 4:30am and a driver picked us up from our hotel and dropped us at the ferry port. We had no clue what to do from there as he just gave us our tickets and said go in and that was it. Prior to leaving, we weren’t sure if it was a ferry where the car drives on too but it was just a people ferry (maybe that is obvious but it didn’t explain). When you get to the port think airport vibes. Pay a small terminal fee (25-30 pesos) at one desk, then go to the check in desk to get a ticket with your seat number and then go through a little security check point then sit and wait for your ferry time to be called. There’s food and drink stalls and toilets and lots of seats in the waiting area. There was staff around to ask if you had any questions and the intercom announces when to board but would be nice if that was explained better for first time travellers as we were a bit nervous/unsure of what to do when we got dropped off. Ferry was surprisingly comfortable and took around 2hrs Touched down in Bohol and a new driver was waiting for us with a name sign (easy to find and efficient). Started at chocolate hills, then travelled to the butterfly/snake sanctuary place and then the tarsiers and drove through the forest and got taken to the Rio Verde river cruise (a previous review also mentioned being taken to the Rio Verde one as opposed to the original loboc river cruise one? but it seems to be the same thing and was really enjoyable regardless). If you want souvenirs they are at all the destinations. Chocolate hills viewpoint had a nice restaurant, toilets and signs to take photos with - as we went first thing it wasn’t too busy but began to get busy later on as we were about to leave. Our driver was very attentive, chatty and hospitable which was nice - even offered to stop off for breakfast/ coffee when we arrived. When we finished earlier than expected he dropped us off at the ticket office and explained that we just need to go in and ask to change our return ferry ticket to the earlier one (had to pay 100 pesos extra for 2 people so the ticket could be changed) Got some amazing photos and memories and was a really nice day out! Make sure you bring small notes for the terminal fees, any tips, souvenirs and if you need to change your ferry ticket to an earlier one! Doing any of the ATV or zip line things at the chocolate hills is optional - you just have to let your driver/guide know if you want to do any of those. These things cost extra so bring money if you want to do those

What a peaceful place Bohol is! Nature is well preserved. Our tour guide Rodel was great! Just driving around the island was fun not to mention the tourist sites.

We had a very enjoyable trip with our guide Rodel. He was knowledgable and friendly. The chocolate hills site and the river cruise were an absolute highlight and I would recommend it to anyone. We also got to visit a cave next to the tarsier rescue which was not on the schedule but should definitely be visited - quite a hidden gem. Only the python experience I would not do again as part of this tour.

It was amazing!! Our first driver Allan, picked us up at our hotel in Cebu city and brought us to the Port to Bohol. From there, our driver/tour guide Rodel picked us up in Tagbiliran and he was awesome at giving us the lay of the land island and the itinerary of the trip. He was patient and insightful, as we went all around the island doing fun activities and seeing the sights. Bohol is a beautiful island and definitely work a visit. Would recommend their services as they were extremely helpful and great with all my questions.
