I had a lovely day with Lux Tours! I absolutely loved the attention to detail that went into the tour. I felt safe and comfortable throughout such a long day. I really appreciated how Lux Tours went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The muffins and gummy bears were such a nice and personal touch, and I thought that was really lovely and added to the overall experience. Tommy was our guide for the day and he was absolutely amazing. You could clearly see how passionate he was about what he does. His customer service was fantastic. He made the effort to get to know everyone, check that everyone was comfortable and make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. He even made the rounds throughout the day to take everyone’s photos, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was an amazing experience and definitely one of the highlights of my time in Queenstown. I would absolutely recommend Lux Tours, and love to do some other Tours with them the next time I’m inn Queenstown.

We had the most fantastic day with Luxe Tours on our private Milford Sound tour and would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering making the trip. There were just six of us, and having the private tour made the whole experience feel incredibly special. The van was so comfortable and spacious, and although Milford Sound makes for a long day, it honestly never felt like it. There were plenty of stops along the way and so much to see — we were even lucky enough to see keas and an avalanche! Our guide, Adrian, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and incredibly patient, and was particularly wonderful with the young disabled adults travelling with us. He made everyone feel comfortable and included and really added to the enjoyment of the day. Ryan especially loved Adrian's "dad jokes", which became a running joke throughout the trip! Milford Sound itself was spectacular and the cruise was a wonderful part of the experience. We also really appreciated having a table reserved for us on board — just one of the many thoughtful little touches throughout the day. From the delicious muffins (the savoury one was particularly good!) and gummy bears along the way, to the special gifts for Ryan and Michelle at the end of the day, everything felt genuinely thoughtful and personal. The gifts have even been named Adrian and Milford, which probably says everything about how much they enjoyed their day! From our first contact when booking through to being dropped off at the end of the tour, everything was seamless. We felt like VIPs for the entire day. Milford Sound is incredible in its own right, but having Adrian as our guide and travelling privately with Luxe Tours made the journey there and back every bit as memorable as the destination. A truly wonderful day and one of the highlights of our New Zealand trip.

Tommy was our guide for our Luxe Tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound and I cannot rate him more highly. If we could we would give Tommy and this company 10 stars. Tommy is articulate, passionate, knowledgeable, tidy, customer driven with excellent people skills. We felt very safe with Tommy as our driver. He is a local and knows the roads well. This is a long drive and I would not have liked to have driven ourselves. The cruise is run well and the booking system with Luxe tours is faultless. Highly recommendable Milford Sound Tour for all who want to avoid the large crowds. Luxe Tours is a family-owned, eco-friendly tour operator that uses very comfortable small buses with 12 passengers max. These can stop where the bigger tour buses can not - so we got to see more - and the whole experience is very personal, hassle-free and relaxed. Everything is perfectly organised from pickup to dropoff, frequent bathroom stops, there is free water in refillable bottles, sweets and even muffins. Our amazing and superfriendly guide Adrian was not only a expert driver, but also a great guy, giving lots of in-depth information on what we were seeing on the road, nature, wildlife and life in New Zealand in general, as well as answering all our many questions about his home country and generally providing us with everything along the way to make this a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable trip. The journey to Milford sound runs through Fjordland National Park, with numerous stops at wonderful spots such as Eglington Valley or the Mirror Lakes. We even saw Kea, the only alpine parrots. But the highlight is of course Milford Sound itself, where Luxe Tours cooperates with the Milford Haven, a very nice smaller cruise ship with great staff and commentary, which takes ample time up close to all photogenic spots such as the waterfalls. We even saw Fjordland penguins! Luxe tours has reserved seats inside and we had a pre-ordered lunch of pies and cake which was delicious. There are no words really to describe the beauty of Milford sound, one can only experience it. And we can not think of a better way as doing this with Luxe Tours, who charge a little more than the bigger operators, but provide so much more in the way of service, hassle-free organisation, comfort and personal connection to their guests! Being on their Milford Sound Tour was an experience of a lifetime and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

If you are looking for an stress-free and premium way to see the sights, We cannot recommend Luxe Tours enough. The small group size made the entire day feel highly personalised. The vans are great and have plenty of room and communication with the company was always professional and quick. The natural beauty of the area was breathtaking… Snow capped mountains, Running Rivers, mirrored lakes , waterfalls and wildlife. The boat for the Milford Sound cruise was perfect. Not overcrowded and a view from every window. Adrian was an exceptional guide and driver and should be complimented for his professionalism.He kept us entertained with fascinating local stories and wildlife facts while ensuring the drive was smooth and completely safe. His warm hospitality really elevated the whole experience. A flawless trip from start to finish!

From start to finish, the experience we have had with Luxe Tours has been amazing! The communication during the booking process was thorough and efficient. We had a cancelled flight getting into Queenstown and they accommodated our last minute re-scheduling request. The day of the tour, we were met with a very friendly guide, Tommy. We was extremely knowledgeable about the surroundings and shared interesting information as we went along the drive. He also told us everything we needed to know throughout the day, which made everything easy and relaxed. The van was super comfortable as well. As a group, they really thought of everything little detail to make the day enjoyable. We are so happy we decided to go with Luxe Tours! It was an incredible experience and I would HIGHLY recommend their services!

Awesome day out with Lux tours and was fortunate to have Tommy as our guide. He was brilliant and would do anything to make your day a memorable one. Lux tours is as the name states. Lux. A must do tour if your in Queenstown NZ

I'll add another 5 star rating here as Luxe Tours deserves more than google 5 star rating. Communications prior to our tour has been excellent and responded to our questions really quick as well. Two thumbs up for Tommy for being an incredible guide and the knowledge he has was just outstanding. He made our tour very enjoyable and let us take our time to enjoy the scenery through the road trip from the beginning to the end. We never felt so relaxed when we do day trip tours. I strongly recommend Luxe Tours that provides comfortable ride and in a small group tour when you visit Queenstown and will definitely be using Luxe Tours again in future.
