Best boat architecture tour you will EVER take if you take it with KAREN. She knows her stuff and she will give the whole history, and the details of buildings. You see the whole city laid out and can apprechiate the city better. Karen is da real goat
Karen was phenomenal!!! She was super knowledgeable about all of the buildings and mentioned many interesting facts. She spoke clearly and was super easy to understand. It was such a privilege to be on her tour, I would love to be on her tour anytime. My only regret is that we couldn’t tip her for her knowledge and expertise!
It was super amazing I got the tour guide named Karen and she was the most incredible, kindest, most humble, most patient, most epic, most mythic, most legendary, most superb tour guide ever. Seriously to anyone that knows her personally, you are super blessed frfr.
Well worth the time and money to take this tour. Lots of fascinating stories and details about the buildings. The tour guide was an expert on all aspects of the history of the Chicago river front and the beautiful buildings.
The guide was fantastic. She had excellent knowledge and a little bit of sense of humor. She kept us entertained the entire 90 minutes.

The Chicago Architecture Center provides the best architecture river tour. Our guide Diane was fantastic. She spoke well, was easy to follow and made our experience very special. I highly recommend this particular tour.
Monica was the volunteer tour guide. She was awesome, knowledgeable, interesting and great sense of humor and storyteller. Wish we could give her a tip for her hard work!! 10 of us loved her, a group of family and friends.
So…south fork of the river was closed today which meant we got a “treat” (they literally called it that) and went further up the north fork to see…the rear side of car dealerships. Absolutely the worst. The guide was nice and tried to make it ok, but the tour company didn’t even offer a free coffee or 10% off a return trip or some sort of consolation. This is after the guide was bragging about how this tour is the most expensive one in the city, not exactly what you want to point out. Do not book in advance and ask if the river is navigable before buying a ticket.
Guide was fantastic. Sound quality was meh and the city is so loud so I missed things here and there but it still was great and I learned a lot and loved the ride.
