I had a great evening layover tour of Mexico City with Estefania! She was a fantastic tour guide who showed me around lots of historical sights and described the changing history of the city. She was great at adapting to what I wanted to see, and also brought me to some delicious authentic street food. It was the perfect way to spend a long layover.

I did the tour with the guide Estefanía, which was amazing (I felt much safer with a woman guide). It is possible to leave the luggage in the car with the driver, super ok. The tour lasted longer than expected, as there was a very long escalation in the city. It was very explaining, I knew the main points of the city, I experimented with local food. It's great to spend time off the scale and know a new place!

We had a great tour with Estafania and the pick up/drop off at the airport was seamless. It was our first time in Mexico City and we will definitely return. We saw several sites in the historic center and it was a great balance of staying on the move while learning something about the stages of Aztec, colonial and post-colonial history in the area. Highly recommended!

We had a long layover in Mexico City between flights and so decided to take a walking tour of Mexico City. We were met at & returned to the airport by our guide, Estefania, and driver, Antonio. Estefania took us on a great walking tour, cleverly broken down into Aztec, Conquest & Modernisation times. She was friendly, knowledgeable & patient. And Antonio was a great & safe driver. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a 10 hour planned lay over in Mexico City so we needed to do something and this tour was PERFECT!!! We would recommend to anyone who has a few hours to burn!!

This layover tour was perfect! It was so easy and convenient, everyone was so nice, our tour guide and driver were both excellent. I would highly recommend México de Pié!

So happy we found this tour for our 8 hour layover in Mexico City. Our tour guide Estefania was perfect. She met us at the airport on time even though our flight was an hour early. She was flexible with the sequence of our tour and made detours to local eateries when we were hungry. We really enjoyed our time with Estefania and learned so much about Mexico City.

Fernando our driver who doesn’t speak English but still was able to communicate with us, came promptly to pick us up from the airport and waited for us to find where the meeting spot should be ( MEX was huge and we didn’t realize that some of the exit doors are in the second floor from the arrival area). Despite the rain. Daniela our guide was waiting for us in the historic quarter and even bought us an umbrella to keep me and my daughter dry during this walking tour. She was able to still show us the most important highlights of the area and gave us tips on taquerias and panaderias if we ever come back to Mexico City ( which we intend to do in the very near future). Fernando then came to pick us up from the historic quarter and safely back to the airport. A very worthwhile tour if you have very limited time in Mexico City. ( This was an overnight layover for me and my daughter on our way home to Las Vegas from Puerto Vallarta) If not for the rain ( which was beyond anyones control), it would have been a perfect tour!

Estefanía was an excellent and super knowledgeable guide! She took us through the historic center and explained, in detail, the 3 significant periods of the area. She took us to the best quesadilla spot in the historic center (not a touristy spot) and gave us the opportunity to make stops when we needed to or wanted. I highly recommend taking a tour with Estefanía, especially if you have a long layover.

What made us take this layover tour were the good reviews, so let me add one more! Oscar was an excellent guide with the cultural and ecological history, and the fascinating architecture of the city. You’ll certainly get your steps in, as every block trekked held so much to see. Plus, the airport pickup/return by Pepe was smooth and safely navigated. It’s definitely time well spent in a layover versus the day wasted in the airport terminal. Now we need a return trip to explore further the interesting highlights they shared, and absorb the vibrancy of this vast city.
