Do not go today Friday 25th Sept There are thousands of people there - queues are crawling and venue simply cannot cope It’s a nightmare

The platinum line was short and they even let us in 30 minutes early.

An extraordinary house with a very nice outdoor bar/café on the upper patio. Would like to have had fewer crowds and been able to see more of the home —maybe should have got the Gold level entry ticket for a few dollars more. I picked an 8:45 “beat the crowd” ticket but there was still a long line before I got in —about 9:15 —and it was very crowded inside. The gift shop is really overpriced. Still, I’m glad to have seen this Gaudí architectural phenomenon.

The house inside is tedious to get around far too busy to enjoy and thousands of people who take thousands of photos of each other with nobody to move them on In all not great value for money

I moved it, even though it was painful to go up so many stairs from a recent foot sprain, the experience was amazing.

We booked the early access tickets that were advertised as offering less crowds. When we arrived there were lines around the block to get in. After entering 15 minutes after our 8:45 start time, we were handed an iPad for a visual and audio tour. You then basically wander around tight hallways in a house in a line with people in front of you because it was so packed. We had to shuffle at the pace of the people in front of us and were at the mercy of everyone who wanted to stop for photos. It was awful and we wanted to leave less than 5 minutes in. There was also no way to leave other than walking through the whole exhibit and a video demonstration. Save your money and skip.

Beautiful experience but note that there’s nothing special or exclusive about the first group time of 8:30! You’ll probably find yourself in the longest line and most crowded time of the day!

The facade, interior and roof of the house all have fabulous qualities. The audio guide is also well set up to explain what you're viewing in each of the rooms. I went in the morning and it was really busy where you are queueing or moving slowly to get between rooms. When walking past the house later in the day, there were no queues outside, so perhaps something to consider for a future visit.

Entry was great. Platinum pass allows you to access a few more locations than if you purchased a regular ticket. EXPERIENCE THE BUILDING EARLY. We were in the first group at 9 AM. It was very crowded… if you don’t care for crowds and tight spaces you will not like the experience. The house is amazing. A must see, but unfortunately some tourists are rude and don’t have sense of space. Pack your patience and enjoy this masterpiece.
