We had an amazing day touring Seoul with Soo! Our group of six enjoyed a private Highlights of Seoul tour, and Soo made the experience fun, interesting, and memorable. We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market, Jogyesa Temple, Insadong, Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, and Bugak Pavilion. It was a wonderful mix of history, culture, food, scenery, and everyday life in Seoul. Soo was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, while keeping our group organized and the day relaxed. We especially appreciated the historical and cultural insights that brought each place to life. We learned a lot, saw many sides of Seoul, and had a fantastic time. Soo helped make our first experience in Seoul truly special, and we would absolutely recommend this tour. Five stars!

Hon was an amazing guide. He took me to all the places I wanted and more we made it back to the airport in the nick of time, which is perfect for me as I hate hanging around. His service back-and-forth to the airport was priceless. Although Seoul traffic can be really stressful.

I booked this tour through Awesome Tour directly on WhatsApp. The service was very prompt and we were able to very quickly get a time. We were booking for a layover tour for a 13 hour stop in ICN and the existing airport tours were already full online. I would actually suggest this over the airport tours since you can be more customized and there is less headache over booking. The tour is private with the driver being the tour guide as well, so the experience is very much centered around you. I recommend this tour to anyone with a long layover, it gives you the most time to see the city and arrive for your flight on time. We arrived early at 4:45AM and were able to meet with our tour guide Soo at 7AM (he arrived earlier which is always appreciated to make sure we could start promptly). For those doing this tour, make sure to go through arrivals rather than transfer. If you go through transfer you will need to go back out through security. I cannot recommend our tour guide Soo enough. He was responsive before, during, and after the tour to make sure all needs and questions were accounted for. There was a marathon at the time of the tour and many locations were not open yet. He created an itinerary that avoided the crowds, while not missing any parts of what you would see at the airport tour and in fact we got to see more. He is open to designing the timeline and itinerary Soo is a very knowledgeable guide that was very much able to both communicate the historical facts alongside his personal experience as a local. It gave the impression of going on a trip with a very knowledgeable friend. Also if you have any skincare questions at all, feel free to ask him! He’s very knowledgeable. We wanted to hit up a lot of locations which he happily accommodated and showed all the good photo spots. I really cannot thank him enough for taking so many pictures for us throughout the entire tour. For food and gifts, he has so many good recommendations without pushing any option.I like this as he truly lets you decide what you want if any and acts as a guide not a salesman. I highly appreciate this since we ended up picking a good spot that felt local for lunch and found the exact gifts we were looking for. As for Seoul itself, I was very impressed. The city is a combination of the past and the new. You truly get to see how tradition meshes together with modern institutions. The city felt very safe where we actually left our luggage in the car visibly which is not something I’d ever do in the U.S. The city is also very clean which is a plus. Overall I highly recommend this tour. Soo did a great job all around and I’d definitely recommend anyone to book with him.

Very personalized and informative Never been to South Korea and learned a lot! Saw the major sights!

Our guide was Soo and he did a fabulous job. Although our tour was suppose to start at 7am, he offered to pick us up at 6am because we had limited time available (we had a long layover). This was totally unexpected and so appreciated. Soo planned the day perfectly to maximize what we could visit. He choose a variety of activities to give us a more complete introduction to Seoul. We got to many places right after they opened, which not only allowed us to fully fill our time, it minimized the crowds at the sites we visited. Along the way Soo taught us about the Korean culture, introduced us to Korean foods, and covered some of the 4000+ years of history. We ended our day with a desire to come back for a longer visit to South Korea. This tour exceeded all our expectations.

Our tour with Hun was the perfect way to start our time in South Korea. While he was open to our ideas, we trusted his recommendations and were very happy with his choices of sites. We appreciated his depth of knowledge about both the history of Korea and its present situation. His animated presentations held our attention. The thing that my wife and I most appreciated, and, in some ways, made his tour special for us, was his willingness to answer all of our probing questions and speak openly about himself, his background, and his life in the context of the current situation in South Korea. We highly recommend him as a guide.

Planning with Hun was great. The communication was fast and thorough. The company went out of their way to meet my request. Soo was my guide for 2 days. He was punctual, positive, friendly, and super well prepared and knowledgeable about Korean history and all the places we went. We crammed a lot in 2 days but it never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking for flexibility and individualization.

My family and I went on a one day Seoul tour with Hun and it was excellent. Hun was very efficient, but also very friendly and provided a ton of information about all of the places we were visiting and Seoul in general. Would not hesitate to book again with for Seoul, or elsewhere in Korea.

Dun was so communicative and helpful in getting us from arriving at Incheon to him. He was full of factoids about life in Korea and Seoul in particular. We had a 10-hour layover and spent most of it with Dun. The airport is a bit of a haul from downtown and we were very tired, but the time was so worth it. I feel like we got a quick, easy, fun taste of what a "real" visit to the city would be like. He customized the itenerary for our day to my 16-year-old son's preferences (less culture, more food/shopping) and we had a great time. Would highly recommend!
