Driver was prompt and was flexible with drop off and pick up location/ times which was very much appreciated. One negative was we were told he would have a sign with business logo and our name. Had hard time locating him as he was outside his vehicle smoking. No sign in sight. Had to text him after attempting to locate WiFi. Then throat and eyes were irritated from the cigarette smoke on his clothing after he had smoked. Alas, we arrived safely with no further issue.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience and the first poor experience ever with Viator after booking many tours. The driver was 1/2 hour late picking up and then 20 minutes late on the return pickup and smelled of alcohol. We were on a cruise ship and didn’t need the anxiety of returning to the ship late.

This was a shared shuttle service, not a private transfer, and occasionally minor delays can happen due to logistical coordination or traffic conditions. The driver informed you at the time that he was held at the port for a customs inspection, which caused the initial delay. He explained the situation directly, and we were informed that you acknowledged and understood. Regarding the return from Etretat, the scheduled pick-up time was 3:00 PM, and the driver arrived at 3:15 PM. We noted your email sent at 1:26 PM requesting an earlier pick-up, but by that point, the route had already been confirmed based on the original plan. As for the concern regarding the smell of alcohol, we take this type of feedback very seriously. The driver strongly denies consuming any alcohol and assured us he was fully fit for duty. In some cases, certain colognes, antiseptic hand gels, or even medication can cause an odor that may be mistaken for alcohol. Nonetheless, we are addressing this internally with our transport partner to ensure there is no misunderstanding in the future and to uphold the highest standards of professionalism. We regret any discomfort or stress this situation may have caused. We appreciate your feedback and are working continuously to ensure a reliable and reassuring experience for our guests. We booked a round trip transfer from the Le Havre Cruise Terminal to Etretat. The service provided was excellent. The vehicle was extremely roomy and comfortable and the driver very courteous. We were picked up on the dot at 9am, the pre arranged time. When we arrived in Etretat we agreed with the driver that he would pick us up at 2pm and he was spot on time again. The communications from the company both before and after our trip were excellent. On the day of our tour the driver communicated with us via WhatsApp. We had a beautiful day in Etretat and would highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing experience with this company. Our driver, Jonathan was communicative, prompt, and friendly. He was early and had a sign up with our name when we disembarked the cruise ship. Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure we had a seamless visit to Etretat and back to our cruise ship (we felt we had a VIP experience). Highly recommend this company!

Perfect option if you want to do your own thing. Our ship was docked in Honfleur, so we used this round trip service to take us to Etretat, France. We spent the day sightseeing the cliffs, the Je Gardin, lunch at Dormy House and walked the town. Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Driver was very nice and spoke great English.
